  1. Spotted this on the way to the club for my lunchtime pint, lovely nick 1953 with luggage rack.
  2. Another one from Gaydon built by Issigonis & a friend in 1938 using alot of Austin 7 components, it was used last year at the Chateau Impney hillclimb!
  3. Went to the Museum at Gaydon and was very impressed, this little beauty took my eye
  4. Went from Dorset to visit the Severn Valley Railway, perfect Steam and Ale, the pubs in the stations at Kidderminster (King & Castle) and Bridgnorth (Railway Arms) have an excellent selection of well kept ales Freedom of the line tickets and tasty brews at either end, highly recommended.

My first Car meet of the year at the Pub, alot of the usual cars looking very good and some new ones, first a 1935 Invicta 4.5l a 1955 Aston Martin DB 2/4 Really nice Jaguar XK120 in a lovely non original colour! a 1935 Cadillac Laselle Americana Cord 812 Westchester Sedan 1937 Custom The interior, the owner has built a series of custom cars, not really my thing but the workmanship is stunning and to finish sidevalve BSA not sure whether it's a M20 or 21 will check if I see it again. A very pleasant evening in good company, washed down with a couple of nice pints of Best!
  6. Tried some tasty ales recently, first in Kinson noted for very well kept beer and in Childe Okeforde finally in my local spoons I do like a dark ale All very tasty and recommended

  10. Hello Andrew also from my Wednesday wander lovely pint of Butcombe enjoyed in the garden, as you probably recall that's where life goes downhill!
  11. Had a cracking day Wednesday with my Wednesday wanderers (4of us) in Wareham & Corfe Castle plenty of Palmers and this I have not had before but very nice in Corfe Club & their Cheese & Onion rolls are not to be missed!
  12. Parked outside the club last night a 1954 1.5L lovely!
  13. Flock of long tailed tits descended on the feeders this afternoon, tried to zoom in with the phone as they don't hang around for long, not terribly successful!
  14. In my local Spoons yesterday saw this on the pumps and as I was walking thought I'd give it a try I really like a dark ale at this time of year and for me this was a corker! Got to go past there again this evening, I can resist anything except temptation!

  16. Checked the nesting boxes today, all ready for new tenants, roll on spring!
  17. Well Xmas sorted, picked up my beer yesterday! and repaired to the "Ilchester Arms" in Symondsbury what a lovely sight!
  18. Went to Bridport yesterday to pic up my Christmas beer and saw this lovely Riley outside the Ilchester Arms, had a nice chat with the owner about Dick Barton! 1949 1 1/2 Litre gorgeous!
  19. Known as Friary Spew! in the Harrow in Cheam, I'm now in Dorset, we have a couple of Tap Houses close by with changing selections, a board from each All served straight from the barrel, very good!
  20. Visiting friends in Swanmore Hants had a lunchtime pint (2!) at "The Brickmakers" At 4% very quaffable session beer from a Gosport Brewery, recommended.
  21. Poole to Wareham in Dorset £3.50 return off peak group 3 travel about 12.5 miles, Bus from home to Poole station 3.5 miles £2.50 one way, bus pass doesn't kick in till 9.30!
  22. A very good show, good selection of layouts of a high standard, well done to the organisers.
