  2. Done a little bit towards the layout this week,although my free time at the moment has been getting used in the garden. Thought id scratch build a plate girder bridge for the next corner of the layout,the idea being that this will provide a small track/road providing access to a small farm house that i have planned on that corner of the layout. I used brickwork for this bridge instead of stonework simply because it was just spare stuff i had lying about. In fact im not even sure if there is a brick/girder plate bridge on the S&C line? Anyway a few pics... Cheers Ben

  5. Congrats on the magazine shoot,must be a very nice feeling when your layout gets featured in a mainstream mag. All your YouTube videos over the past few years have really helped many other modellers including myself,so thanks for that! Cheers Ben

  10. Great pics mike & good luck with the "pork pie" at the clinic. Just out of intrest..ive noticed the wire & post fencing on the embankment,did you scratch build that or is it the ratio one? Only asking as im planning on having some on my own layout but not sure yet on how id scratch build it. Cheers Ben

  14. It certainly does look the part jeff,everything about it looks to scale & in proportion. Great work. When it comes to ballasting though,do you lay each individual ballast stone by hand?!! Ha ha Cheers Ben

  21. Having another look at this masterpiece! On the stonework underneath the bridge...how did you get that effect of it being wet with rain water? If you dont mind me asking? Fantastic work! Cheers Ben
  22. Done one small job whilst i was up in the loft. Fitted gangway connectors that ive had for ages to a rake of 7 mk1 coaches. Can't believe i used to run them without now! Makes a huge difference. Cheers
  23. Was up in the loft this evening having a tidy up & had jubilee "achilles" running on the layout. Just a couple of shots from one end of the layout as the natural light was fading fast,the velux windows are only on one side of the roof unfortunately. Cheers Ben
