  1. Only got two but they would fit my plans fine .
  2. Yes, some had cranes. Either fit cranes or break off all end bits. The instructions are not exactly good. Crane ones fit with my plans.
  3. If you want it make it, i don't have the time to wait. Been waiting 40 years for cross country DMUs so made my own. I also have a short wishlist in with ironmink. Who was already considering the wagons. If any are done chassisless, would be my request due to different axleboxes .
  4. Worked the Sturgeons i need have cranes on them. Any sources please? Or a STL if not. Thankd Martin
  5. I need to change mine as needle is jamming. Tools are over £100, new brush is cheaper. How can i change the seal without the toolkit? Thanks
  6. How many are in the genuine 140 club? I have heard rumours of early GWML well over 130
  7. Working on another mineral wagon rake. Was looking at buying about 15 Airfix kits and doing top flap and vb. Too expensive now. So trialing ABS like resin, rather good, but my exposure was too short. Will repeat tomorrow. Using ironmink stls. 41900 is now at wheel time. But brake gear fouls.
  8. They are too soft, upping to 5 second exposures tomorrow.
  9. Will be using ABS like resin now, but still want a fdm as well. Now thinking of carriage sides minus overlay rather than laminating plasticard
  10. Very good first print, but too soft. 3.5 second too short even though recommended, going for 5
  11. For fun blue grey mark 1s are not well supplied. RTR Also the raised window frame ones
  12. Todays stuff. Put the wheels on, some binding on brakes. Need to move blocks in slightly. Two MCVs
  13. The GWR Collet gangwayed gaps are huge. No 70 footers, preserved, no excursion see DVR, no super saloons, no Sunshine BTK, no early 30s flat ended see SVR GWR 150 BCK.
  14. I have a Worsely works DMU but I think the windows are slightly deep. Got a GRCW 119 though.
  15. Brings back memories of KWVR visit in 1980s
  16. There is one i need, no model at all late GWR BT as built in early 50s, got 2 Ts, but no BTs. Will have to run as a mix but many pics of 3 together. I am now even going comet route for mark 1s, just not sure if whole vehicle, or reside a lima.
  17. Very useful. Continental so it is. http://www.cs.rhrp.org.uk/se/CarriageInfo.asp?Ref=490 I have ridden in it, many years ago on a s and c merrymaker
  18. Corridor stock, was disappointed no toplights, but pleased all in Comet range.
  19. I am copying some real rakes and found in one set GWR An early Sunshine. A late door to every compartment, same design as the SVR BCK which used to bemainline registered. A 57ft bow end. A 70ft.
  20. Is that the same family as the brake third at KWVR? And how do you make the roofs as it is effective and holding its shape?
  21. OK I am planning on moving to ABS like resins Elegoo ABS 2.0 seems recommended. What would be a good start point for exposures? Using the basic Elegoo grey resin, the really brittle stuff. Mars 2 Pro Currently 0.05mm layers 2.5 second per layer 35 seconds base layer I do know I need slightly slower lift speeds. Should I try similar, or longer? Thanks Martin
  22. Are there plans for MCV and MXV with no top flaps?
  23. Or rate before using, spent a lot on leather refinishing stuff, can't use as too cold and wet, get hounded to review. I will review once i have done the first seat.
