    Hornby P2

Why did I have to start scratchbuilding #2007... Seriously though, this will be an interesting one to watch. With only one livery in that form, it doesn't offer much variety, but is shows Hornby are willing to stick their neck out and offer something different, and will hopefully lead to the other 5 (for now...). I'll most definitely be getting one of the top range ones to compare to my aforementioned scratchbuild in progress of the A1SLTs one. BTW, how about BR Mixed Traffic lined black? Anyone?
  5. 'With 100,000 men dying everyday, who's going to miss one small pigeon?' *BANG* 'Well obviously not you sir.'

  6. This is what happens when you look through this thread too much, and combine it with my mind: http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/gallery/album/2021-cuts-and-shuts/]http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/gallery/album/2021-cuts-and-shuts Next up is a King Garrett, a GWR Cathedral 4-6-2 and a SR Rebuilt 2-6-2.
  7. Got a Bazinga shirt for christmas, so what comes on tonight? The ball pit episode!

  8. What a wonderful (if wet) christmas that was. All the best for the rest of you around the world, and Merry Christmas!

Not a Holden man, so I would actually take my mates racing Falcon XR8 ute. They don't even weigh the rear down whilst racing!

  10. Merry Christmas to all on RMweb, particuarly Andy for doing a fine job yet again.

  11. Just to further add to this, 4002 and 4006 had their center idler axles removed when sold to Cliffs Robe River Iron Associates in WA. 4002 (seen in the picture) was converted back to original A1A-A1A configuration using bogie parts from withdrawn ALCO C626 locomotives, whereas sister 4006 is still a BO-BO (I believe), and survives in a park in Wickham (near Cape Lambert). She was stripped of all useable parts, and has all her body openings welded shut. The cab doors on the 40 Class are a bit of a nightmare if you're tall. At the Great Train Expo this year, I was invited into the cab of 4001. Being 6' 6", it certainly made for a tight squeeze, and whilst taking some photos inside the cab, I accidentally hit the handle on the other door (diagonal to the front one), and nearly fell out onto the tracks!

  21. G'day all, I'm down here in Sutherland myself, waiting to watch the world crumble whilst The Shire stays perfectly intact next Friday. Steve, Lilli Pilli is a wonderful place to live. I have a few mates who live down there, plus as Gary said it is a fantastic spot to fish from.
