      See whether enamel thinners, applied with a gentle cloth and/or cotton buds, will clean the basic surface up, then you could re-paint it with acrylics or enamels?

      I've been holding out to see if the London Transport Museum are doing one but as it was rolled out in early November 2013 and its nearly August 2014 and still no announcement.

    YESSS! Found a brand new unopened DCC decoder at the back of the TV stand of all places? Oh and the NR 57/3s are now officially DRS as of today!! :) :) (in XHAC pool now)

    hacked off that my school can waist a good few thousand pounds on some performing arts exam we don't need and yet can't afford to buy any extra cooling systems (air-con) in the English and science corridors where its extremely hot in even moderate heat!

      350232 To be exact... The reason for its naming was it had spent several months in Wolverton works because a women set herself on fire in the toilet and was found melted to the floor when the set came to a halt...

      Not nice, annoyingly for LM it was in the middle of a 12 car formation so some interesting shunting had to take place on that one
