  1. I've posted about it a bit further up this page. The toilet coach on the blue/yellow version should have a toilet each side of the coach, with corresponding toilet window each side. If you look at the pictures on the Kernow website, they show a toilet window one side and a full size passenger window on the other. Unless I missed it at the time, none of these 319s (or any 319 at any time) had a toilet coach like this. Missing shoegear and a large gap between units are solveable and I can live with a driver's window that might not be quite the right size, but this coach is completely wrong. And bizarrely appears to be a separate tooling rather than the wrong coach used from another of the 319s that were produced. To rectify the error, Bachmann would hopefully supply a new coach body from the NSE or Northern one (which are correct) painted in the blue/yellow livery. Kernow pictures of both sides of all coaches here: https://www.kernowmodelrailcentre.com/p/54892/372-876-Graham-Farish-Class-319-319382-Thameslink
  2. The incorrectly tooled toilet coach on the blue/yellow model is a major mistake and impossible for most to rectify, even an experienced modeller. I still can't see where they've got the tooling from for this coach, other than it seems to be a separately tooled one. The correct coach exists in the NSE and Northern model.
  3. Seems like the shoegear will be easy enough to fit if Bachmann send out spares, as there appear to be holes for them. I can't work out what coach they've used to get the toilet on one side only though on the blue/yellow one. Doesn't seem to be a disabled-only toilet coach, as per the 769, as there's a big window one side and a toilet window the other. Seems to be a standalone coach moulding, unless I'm incorrectly remembering the toilet set-up on the blue/yellow one (or at least on some of them, as YouTube videos clearly show toilets both sides). The NSE livery one is correct, so bodes well for the one I hope to get if they make it in OO!
  4. As well as the missing shoegear, which seems to be on all variants looking at the useful Kernow Model Centre pictures, the blue/yellow one only has a toilet on one side of the toilet coach. As far as I remember, these had two toilets, next to each other, at the end of the coach next to the pantograph.
  5. Good price for what seems to be an as-new Dapol original Yeoman livery JHA inner: https://www.hattons.co.uk/890320/dapol_4f_050_102_po01_jha_102_tonne_aggregate_hopper_wagon_inner_in_foster_yeoman_original_livery_193/stockdetail
  6. Train to Llandudno running with a passenger door open.
  7. And now with pantographs and driving cabs in Germany:

  14. Unfortunately, this is from Andy York's summary of the problem that occurred: "The uploaded images from the last year could, sadly, not be recovered from Dediserve. Older images should be largely intact although further checks are being made. Users will be able to edit earlier posts and re-upload images if they wish. It’s far from ideal and I’m furious with Dediserve for their failings in this regard"
  15. Just use the contact facility on their website I guess: https://www.hattons.co.uk/static/contact

Great to see the Skipper one being done; a wishlist unit for me for years. Rail Express article from June 2021 on "Pacers: The BR Years" available here: https://www.pressreader.com/uk/rail-express-9L24/20210615/281556588773991

  19. https://www.Dapol.co.uk/New-OO-Gauge-Class-73-Liveries-Announced Now is the time to send feedback to Dapol! Really want the Intercity livery, so hoping they get it right this time, especially the lower bodyside colour, which they did in white on the first batch.
  20. The forum in basic mode seems to have unhidden all ignored topics. It's mostly been a pleasant trip down memory lane, but I can't believe certain problem issues are still rumbling on!

  21. I might have overlooked something obvious, but are there any photos of the Accurascale 37s with liveries, other than the snippets above?
  22. A further 15% off weathered items at TMC. Link doesn't paste properly at the moment, so follow the link on their homepage (www.themodelcentre.com).
  23. Hatton's new stock list for today, March 1st, lists a number of Hornby items as bargains. For example, 87001 for £99 and 87002 £119. Looks like a Hornby warehouse clear out. https://www.hattons.co.uk/stocklist/new
  24. Damaged a set of Serck shutters on your 47? Never mind: And the track in the background, opposite the platform ends, looks like a bad baseboard join.
