  1. Hatton's have listed nine variants of the Accurascale 92 in today's new stock items. Not sure if any are sold out versions.
  2. Picture of 87009 in Intercity Executive livery about a third of the way down the page here: https://uk.Hornby.com/community/blog-and-news/engine-shed/reflection Good comparison picture here:
  3. A post on the main Class 92 thread from yesterday says Bart will be with Accurascale "later next week".

    Class 59 in 00

Thanks for the pictures and modification tips. I believe 59005 was the only one delivered with the radio pods, being ordered after the first four. Dapol have put them in the correct place. While not necessarily a 100% accurate representation of the pod, I think they are closer to the real thing on this model than on the 59/1, which had a different style of pod. Best pictures I can find of each end (you can zoom in for a close-up):
  5. Just checked over my two, 92003 and 92022. Superb looking models with amazing details. Not test run them yet. Just one question on 92022 Charles Dickens: my 92003 came with metal BR arrows and Crewe depot plaque; should 92022 come with a metal nameplate, BR arrows and Crewe depot plaque? None of these were with it, just the bag of pipes and bufferbeam parts.
  6. Accidentally installed one of your headcode numbers upside down?

  10. The weakest part of the Bachmann 47 to me has always been the marker lights (not spaced quite right and slightly too large). I've always bought ones with black light surrounds as that makes them look much better. Having just purchased 47 572 in large logo, I was looking at pictures of the real thing and came across this, which shows 47s did have at least two positionings of marker lights. First time I've ever noticed it. I don't know how many across the class had the closer together ones though.

Great news. Been waiting for one in BR blue, no headlight or TDM cables.

  16. Have the @Trains4U versions C and D with the lighter weathering been produced and sold out, or are they still forthcoming? Only just seen they were being sold weathered!
  17. That's a good picture to add into the mix. The "executive grey" has always been a controversial colour on models, with dirt and lighting making it appear very brown in some pictures. It looks light grey in your linked picture. Definitely a model I'm going to need to see in-the-flesh to see exactly what they've done with this colour. I'd be grateful though to anyone getting an Intercity one in the coming days if they could post pictures.
  18. Rails of Sheffield have just kindly confirmed that the Intercity version is exactly the same livery as the previous run, with incorrect white lower bodyside. Do Dapol read the feedback (on a really simple livery fix) and then just decide they don't want to sell their models? Very strange.
  19. Unless the picture is over-exposed, it looks like Dapol have made the same error again with the Intercity 73, painting the executive grey as white on the lower bodyside. Pictures from the Rails of Sheffield website; the enlarged ones have pasted as pictures rather than links. https://railsofsheffield.com/products/class-73-jb-intercity-executive-73136
  20. Thanks; good to see. I ordered it yesterday, with R40159, based on the information Hornby had given to @adamvb earlier in the thread and with fingers crossed. Two more standard class Intercity ones to come and then looks like just the two first class coaches to wait for in a future run with different number (and no fictitious roof vents). Overall very pleased with these coaches and, as the poster above says, for a reasonable £40 with shop discount.
  21. Latest Class 73s now showing as in stock at Rails of Sheffield. Only seem to be showing the old Dapol pictures so far, so can't see whether the liveries are correct.
  22. Run out of Railfreight grey paint for your 31? Just revert back to BR blue:
