  1. Some on going health issues have meant I've not done any modeling for a few months and most likely wont for the foreseeable future. Sorry for any one I'd promised to do anything for. Steve

      Way to go - one stop paintshop for Caley, Great Western, and South Eastern wagons. But do you find they feel biscuit afterwards?

  5. I’m doing a Silhouette cutter display and will be building some wagons from parts cut on the machine at the Aysham model railway show (just north of Norwich) this Saturday if anyone’s in the area. Come up and say hello if you are. Steve

      I've just renewed both leaf springs and all bushes on my Morris Minor as they were quite saggy. Made a great difference!

      I had a spring U bolt fail on a Jensen 541R which dropped the spring onto the road. This after 10 years storage en route to an MOT Test. God help us now they are abandoning MOTs for classics. A 541 lost its wire wheel adaptor and wheel at the Swan Inn Bibury, ended up on its brake drum, thank god it was not the disc braked R

      Well, I've undertaken to hack a mainly 1860s and 1870s loco stud mainly out of RTR locos - freelance Line but prototype designs. So, why not?

  16. Hmm I wonder if my Silhouette cutter will cut out some square bolt heads, round rivets and hex nuts as small as 0.5mm for chassis fittings. I might try tomorrow

  20. Lost touch with my elder brother after a family falling out. Now learned he died 3 years ago and we never knew untill now, come as a bit of a blow I can tell you. Makes you think about life and lost chances
