  1. I read parts of it, blimey, there's some bile there, now remember why I stopped using that particular organ. Looking forward to my apparently flawed, but hugely better than I could manage, Gate stock.
  2. Had similar with a couple of rebuilt Bulleids, but on the 2nd axle of the front bogie. As you say, a gentle stretch brings them back into position.
  3. No, I usually want the bits from the detailing pack more than the coupling, so not a problem.
  4. Well as they're all different, they are all the odd one out in some way....
  5. Until that date, they will honour the price quoted at the time you originally placed the order. So I've paid more than £99, but less than £129.....
  6. Should be there fairly early doors tomorrow, if I don't get blown off course.....
  7. Probably, my as built MN can easily do it. Even my Peckett can pull 7 Hornby Staniers, but doesn't on a regular basis!
  8. Hopefully it'll be easy to fit a crew....an aspect of design many 00 tank locos and diseasels are lacking in.....
  9. I've a feeling I ordered one years ago, but can't remember who from, or which livery. Could be an interesting surprise :0
  10. Wolverhampton. 20042, 31st March 1987 Wolverhampton. 20077. 20th(?)Dec 1984
  11. They are very nice. I still can't tell 1st generation 3rd rail EMUs apart though!
  12. I was aware of this situation, and shopped around, and found one online (can't remember where, not one of the big boys though)that had the heavier weathering with the oil streaks etc. Really pleased with it. However, my local dealer had examples with the light, insipid weathering, so be careful, as you need to see the actual example, not stock photos.
  13. A few snaps of Waterfield Hall, which I was helping friends with yesterday. Only had a quick look round the rest of the exhibits, though, but some interesting stuff.
  14. Well they could start advertising for the 35th anniversary, and be reasonably optimistic of only just missing it
  15. "For those more on the ball, they would have seen that we have been offering these new titles at £29.95 for all those who order and pay for their books before 10 September, with a confirmed release date for the books of 14 September 2017. In addition we also have an extra offer if you spend more than £50 in one go just now, you can choose an extra £19.95 book from our extensive range FREE. That is £89.85 worth of books for £59.90 if you take both of these new titles just now, plus £2.95 Postage & Packing (also subsidised by us by the way). That's a 33% price discount on that offer..." Which is exactly what I've done.
  16. Statfold on the morrow. Just the 17 locos in steam then....

  17. There are relative bargains to be had on the Hattons pre-owned pages, BUT, not too many, and they go very quickly. If you have the time to look daily, that's your best chance.
