Morning All, Sporadic reading and ratings I’m afraid. Things starting to hot up around here as Mum’s house and old business premises has had an offer on them accepted. Plenty to do still regarding moving stuff and the deckchair situation is still ongoing. Not sure if some people know the urgency of the situation. Mum and sister are on holiday at the moment so can’t help just yet. Not sure if Mum will be much help physically and sister will have things on when she gets home even though paid employment is a bit thin on the ground. Need to speak to accountant regarding abysmal trading figures, contact various people regarding outstanding work at the new business premises and sort out the insurance claim for the water leak. Perhaps I’d better get up and make a start.

The two you mentioned will be worth a bob or two as well even in their current state!

Grey seems a relatively popular colour here, a sort of gloss grey primer shade, looks awful to me. It’s an odd colour and certainly not an official Lotus colour. I had a bit of trouble when I needed some touch up paint. The garage had some sort of device that ‘measured’ the colour and then compared it which with a data base. In this case there was no match so the paint had to be hand mixed so I had to take off one of the pop up headlights and send it off to be matched. Still got some left in the spray can and when I get around to it I’ve got an Oxford Diecast model that I’m going to paint to represent my car.

Evening All, Picking up on a few points. On @iL Dottore rant, don’t you just hate it when retailers/ebay come up with suggestions for you like ‘ we know you’ve looked at the Fleischmann N gauge Re 4/4 and thought this LGB Hartz mountain 2-10-2 may be of interest’. Rugan, I’m hoping to go there for my birthday treat and may check out the sub. Das Boot is a very good film about life on a WW2 U boat from the early years of the war when the U boots roamed relatively freely to the later years when they were ‘floating coffins’. It is in German, with subtitles but still well worth watching. There’s a submarine in the key side in Vladivostok but I don’t suppose any of us will be going to see it any time soon. Hope the drivel makes sense as be bothered checking grammar or spelling so Goodnight.
