  1. The heel on those shoes look to have been inspired by attempts to get the layout level.
  2. The culprit is the one taking the picture, likely leaving the poor dog alone for too long
  3. Is that the one on Avery Avenue? I heard that the Police were exploring Avery Avenue.
  4. Surely that only works with the original recipe Irn Bru, the other stuff could have been made in Manchester, so only stages 1 to 3 work fully, stage 4 partially and stage 5 more likely to be something by Oasis.
  5. Of course there is this new "what three words" system, mine is loud.cards.piles. Thats bad enough, but someone has daft.twit.house which is in Queesland Australia Jim
  6. The quality of this video does not do justice to the original. BRstd 4 tanks on the Gourock run Jim J
  7. There was a lovely layout at Model Rail Scotland this year called CASTLETOWN (BALLYGLUNIN) which is based on the movie location. https://www.modelrailways.ie/layouts/castletown Jim
  8. Nobody watching " The Steeltown Murders"? This drama, based on a true story is set in South Wales in two timelines, the first being 1973 the second in the early 2000s . In the 1973 era, a MGR hauled by a large logo livery class 56 appears in the background twice, the first time the logo is the wrong way round, the second time the train is going the opposite direction and the logo is right way round. The loco also has small white numbers. Can't help thinking it might have been CGI but at usual plenty of attention had been made to ensure the correct cars and vans are used, but when a train is needed, anything will do. Jim
  9. An excellent book. Also essential reading are "Diesels on the Scottish Region" by S. Richard (Bradford Barton), "BR Diesel Traction in Scotland" by George C. O'Hara and "First Generation Scottish Diesels in Colour" by David Dunn. Jim
  10. At one time the Royal Scot started at Ayr! https://flic.kr/p/3duVKF Jim
  11. Couple of others available as models not yet mentioned are the LMS, 10000, 10001 and at least one of the SR diesels were seen at Glasgow on WCML expresses and DP2 visited Edinburgh. Jim
  12. At the office party, everyone was feeling gay, so gay left. Then everyone jumped for joy. Joy has raised a harassment claim.
  13. Thanks Roy, it makes total sense to me. Have to say that the instructions are a bit weak, could be a bit more explanatory about this. Jim
