  1. The Prarie moves one siphon into the bay for storage, the other is then deposited on the fast up.
  2. They really are.. I'm running mine, but the thought of even adding some grime to the very white roof terrified me.
  3. It really wasn't my intention to buy two of these.. But they really are lovely models..
  4. I thought that from the reviews I saw. While a really nice idea to stop it getting broken, a little too floppy to hold anything..
  5. Nope.. Motive power is on order, it's just taking a while..
  6. I slipped, I clicked the buy button ;) - Got the shipping notification late yesterday... Now the real question is will it come today.....
  7. Much better in grey! They are looking really smart, yes, worth the effort.
  8. The Prarie was on milk duties tonight with a down train of Siphons, while the collett on the up express... Probably could do with a bigger GWR loco or 2...
  9. You know what they say about hindsight..
  10. Put the Lima ones back on? 😀 They do look smart..
  11. Sounds like you could do with 2 more then 😀
  12. I have a set on order too.. I also tried not too, but couldn't resit. (If anyone wants an Arfix pair, I have some to sell ;) ) They do look very nice, I think I need to find the Rapido Facebook page then!
  13. The end of my k40.. They were white metal.
  14. The fiddle yard is finally completed. We also added 3 roads on the down line. We can then stage a goods train and the autocoach, probably for some odd stock and locos.
  15. Pretty sure they were part of the kit.. But I really don't remember!
  16. The biggest downside with the WoR subscription is the fact it doesn't use the EE app, it's a view on the web... But, you get 5 magazines, with the full back catalogue and yes, the search is pretty solid! I had a pocket mags subscription to both Garden Rail and BRM, I'm now paying less for more, so happy to deal with the web version of EE.
  17. Thanks, I'm rather proud of it. It's a K40. A comet brass sides conversion of an old Airfix B set coach.
  18. Looking at the new Siphons coming out made me want to run a little rake of my own. Somehow I've 4 Hs. There is one mainline one, but with no couplings or transfers. Always happy to put the full brake on the back. The new ones do look nice. 😀
  19. Found this picture, not mine.. That's very nice.
