  1. If it works, it works.. Just nice to stop the light getting through.. Thanks.
  2. It certainly does... Just took me a bit longer than expected.... I've started a couple of Cooper Craft cattle wagons too!
  3. That's really nice. Do you fancy flipping it and showing your ashpan?
  4. I've been building a cattle dock for a few weeks. It's amazing how long it takes to feed in all the wires for the fencing. It's not quite finished, but enough to put in place...
  5. Probably.. Only one model, with the different numbers.. I'm staring at the buffer beam, what are the autotrain control boxes?
  6. I remember when that version came out, with the odd recessed plates. Pretty sure mine came with 'real ones' in the box to stick over the top.. They also have a bad reputation for being iffy runners, but mine with a zimo in has been fine. No stay alive or sound, but she has been pretty solid.
  7. Interesting that only Hattons have the pictures of the new samples.. Loving the lined version of the 43...
  8. Oh, I didn't think it might delay them.... They must have some idea on the Mainline and City with the volume of pre-orders..
  9. Not really interested... I'm really not sure when I'd run something like that, bit of an special coach..
  10. That's why this one doesn't have any! As the roof and one side is a little iffy. An ideal coach side project..
  11. I'll need to find some bogies, I've at least one sunshine that doesn't have any.
  12. Sides on the Sunshine is a nice tip, I've a couple already in bits!
  13. All ready for that Manor.... Looking good.
  14. Oh, I see.. the sides and windows are all one!
  15. So.. Nothing to see here.. I've a Siphon train waiting to depart with no locomotive.
  16. I'm not so concerned with underframe details... The new models are amazing, but once they are on the layout you really can't appreciate them.
  17. Collett looks good. Sometimes you just need a nudge to give them a clean... I'd happily build a K22.. it's a shame these kits are not about anymore..
  18. Bill Bedford? Quick Google, I see, wizard models.. So you made your own top and then used kits for the 3 axels, that's quite a smart way of doing it.
  19. Thanks for the photos, that's quite fleet of locos you have there! I'm surprised about your comments on the collett though, I've a modern one and don't remember any issues.
  20. That 3 wheel milk van looks really nice. I've a couple of the old kits and often thought I should try and make my own replacement chassis with the printer, all 3 are not the best runners..
  21. That Beetle wagon is really nice. Feel like I need one :)
  22. That's a power weathering session! Great idea to get them all lined up and do so many at once.
  23. Question.. Where would they have loaded all those Siphons? Do they pick up churns from stations? Up milk is looking good!
  24. My Dean goods started messing me around. Kept sticking and once shorted the whole layout, I was getting worried. However, stripped down, oiled and cleaned it's all good. So here she is on a short goods waiting to depart. Oh, is that a siphon in the background 😀
