  4. @The Johnster Painting over them could certainly be an option......
  5. I'm colour blind, so resistors are my worst enemy.. I can never tell what resistance any of them are!!
  6. The stay alive is amazing. I lifted the loco off and turned it round, managed to do it without the sound stopping :) My was from Rails - Arrived Friday.. :)
  7. As you say Richard, they tend to be a little too bright....
  8. Actually a lot of progress in the picture... The kids helped me give the back scene a paint of blue and then we cleaned the track and got a few things running. Then I've wired up a couple of platform lights.. When the Manor arrives with its firebox flickering, will look amazing in the gloom..
  9. Does anyone have any good Led recommendations for lighting up buildings?
  10. Dad went back to his beer in the garden!
  11. I had a day off with the youngest today, so as its just the two of us, time for some trains.. I've been putting off painting the rest of the track as it means moving everything.. Ideal job when I've got all day.. I then showed him how to cover up the point blades ready for painting.. Then, we got the airbrush out...
  12. Looking really nice! - Wishing for Rails to get theirs, so they can ship mine!!!
  13. When the Siphons shipped, I think the Accurascale ones were about a week ahead.. Mine is ordered this time from Rails, but my Siphon was direct.
  14. Oil tanker is quite nice... looking forward to it after weathering!
  15. Looks good. As Mr Wolf said, I'm sure this wagon had very little love and spent it's life hiding in sidings.
  16. That's a beast of a vehicle! Really nice modelling, the weathering has set it off a treat.
  17. The kids were off Friday, Summer holidays start here. So I was off work.. Time for some family modelling. We worked on the tunnel that covers one entry to the fiddle yard. It's removable in case we want to rescue anything. I built the base up with some scraps of wood and the. George helped with the chicken wire and then plaster bandage. Into the garden for the painting.. And back onto the layout..Need to find the flock and satic grass in the next few weeks..
  18. OK. Pre-Ordered more GWR rapido wagons....
  19. A few more pictures have appeared on their Facebook page. Looking exquisite. About to be away for a couple of weeks, hopefully be ready to ship when I get back!

    Dapol Autocoach

A small update from Dapol... https://www.Dapol.co.uk/blogs/news/oo-gauge-autocoach-1
  22. New stock testing at Oregon Junction.. New 64xx Pannier - Well, people keep telling me that you need more Panniers. Then 3 amazing wagons from @chuffinghell - Again, many thanks, they look amazing. These are with the new Loriot and Toad from Rapido. The digger will want some work if it's going to stay loaded, the arm above the cab is way to high for my foot bridge, but I thought it looked quite smart.. Like I said.. Must not buy more stock...
  23. Nice to see an update, really good. Thanks for sharing!
  24. I normally grab a cocktail stick, flatten one end and glue one foot to it. Then I can rotate them as I paint. They look quite neat and tidy. Should come out fine at most viewing distances..
