  1. I never get how the 108 is still there... Seen them go for more than the new price 2nd hand on eBay... I got one from their stand at Warley a few years ago and love it!!! I don't think HMCs website is very SEO optimized which probably makes knowledge for their availability a tad poor.
  2. I think you need give a free working train wash away with those! Who'd want to buy a dirty train?! [Probably obvious enough i'm not a fan of weathering lol, Model Railway = Perfect Clean Railway ]
  3. No date on the new livery 150s still......[apart from the massively overpriced ATW sound one which I have now been priced out of buying] How long does/should it take to do this?!
  4. Probably hard to specify what level of each element to test should be passable... Though would have thought this amount of clipping this model seems to get would have been easy to prevent...
  5. Yes, That is what I think, However no other trains have any issue with this area at all, Pendolino and Javelin also have this couple type and they work... It derails in other places (mainly corners) in reverse and on other loops, though I have only been focusing on one direction on one loop (the direction/loop with least no of derailments).
  6. Slightly glad in away to hear other people are having related issues... Did a bit of testing... This shows me fathing about with the bogie... Probably not worth watching. You can see the sticky out bit on the bogie catches the other sticky out bit on the body shell. It disconnects the clips and then gets stuck. Fathing then commonsense to try and clip it back in on camera where it fixes for a bit. And then a comparison with the 395 on how lovely and free its bogie is. Video of it derailing (quite minor in this case though) Video of it running without bodies (derails much later) Video if it running with out the dummy unit, doesn't derail at all. I think as this type of coupling is so rigid, it must have had effect from the dummy car which still had body on... And in case anyone is interested, Gosh, this unit can get some serious speed up. Was very unexpected from this motor set up type from me! Bachmann add more speed please!!! Would probably work properly if "the sticky out bit on the bogie" (or the bit on the body) was cut off. However, Hornby said to send it in so will be doing that - not sure what they will do however! (And apologies if the music isn't to taste, I have ASDA FM playing from an internet radio as I have a model ASDA store which you may be able to spot in one or two of the videos - got to be accurate!)
  7. It's not inclines, it's just slight changes in height due to tables joining :/
  8. Anyone else got theirs yet? Quite worried to find out if it's just mine or a design fault...
  9. It seems to be that the bogie clips the body shell of train, thus causing the body shells to unclip and the wheels to get locked. The other coaches still derail just as much on any incline though. Seriously not enough play in the boogies.
  10. I think I will wait to see if others have the same problem before putting a file to it!
  11. Not sure! Bit nervous to go in! On one of the coaches the the bogie wont turn at all in one direction so may suggest screw...
  12. Mine just came today.... While it looks like a stunning model... Its runs terribly!!! It has a great motor, but the coaches just derail at every slight change in track height! There isn't enough movment in the boogies on the coaches. Not sure if this can be rectified or not. Only had this problem with one other model before (realtrack pacer). VERY annoying, especially at the price point. Interior lights are nice
  13. They rung for payment last week for me... Any chance your number has changed? Probably best to ring them and check...
  14. They said they dispatched them today... Did you pay full or just deposit?
  15. Isn't there a specification in the railroad range that every wheel has a pickup? Sure I read that on some marketing ages ago....
  16. Would anyone happen to know if an IEP will have more overhang than a Pendolino?
  17. I have ordered the kit so will see how that goes, no idea how to add couplers to it though... Shouldn't imagine it would be too hard to google how to do that though...
  18. The cheapest I have seen from another seller is still £50 which seems ridiculous to me.
  19. Yes, I did read that post. I found it slightly confusing as the link you posted too seemed to show a different type of wagon to the type suggested, perhaps you were just saying the "best fit RTR" type as I originally asked, but everyone else has been so specific that probably confused me a tad! The wrenn lowmacs certainly seem to sell on ebay for more than pennies. The grey ones (which is what I need unless respray) seem to go for extortionate amounts.
  20. Yes, 166s are meant to be 3 coaches, and the middle coach contains the motor.
  21. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bachmann-class-166-Network-Southeast-OO-Gauge-2-Car-Set-No-Outer-Sleeve/122955837090?hash=item1ca0bd2ea2:g:I-EAAOSwsZJaexMp "Good runner" Would be surprised to see that going anywhere soon.... Possible the motor has been moved but more explaining needed really...
  22. Minimum wage going up, not forgetting their pension contributions.... It's a lot of staff you have to pay... Perhaps a bargain considering they will work for many many years! Perhaps someone here should buy it and make it the eBay Madness mascot
