I feared that may be the answer. It tends to be any combination of locos which can cause it, the older style 150s with pretty much anything, the Hornby HST with most things. Is there a way to measure how many amps a loco is pulling?

I have a basic 3 loop layout. Depending on the trains I run, often I find when running multiple trains they will all go a bit slower. One specific example is when running a Dapol 68, when I then run 2 Dapol 121s (in multiple) the 68 suddenly slows down a bit. It does this with other combinations of locomotives too (mainly when running 3 trains at once, and one of them is in multiple) however no other specific examples spring immediately to mind. I have 3 loops on my layout (the outer one leading to an under storage system) so think it would be easy to separate it into 3 power regions (inner loop & above sidings, middle loop, outer loop and underground sidings). My layout is a very basic loop, no attempt really to make it look very realistic, with very sharp visible 90 degree bends, Each side is probably about 3m in length. The manuals for the power boosters say that size can be why they are needed so thought I better mention it. My controller is a Hornby Elite with 2 Select walkabouts (I do not wish to change this, I am only interested in console based systems, and don't have £500 for an ECoS system). Seeing as Hornby has discontinued their power booster I am getting a tad panicky and thinking I need to buy one quickly before they all sell out so just want to make sure they are needed first. Am really annoyed I didn't buy the boosters in the hattons sales the other year now... Knew i'd probably regret that. Thanks in advance for any answers!

Because they get some sort of payment for either listing/selling them on behalf of the business, where as the UK suppliers have no such arrangement with Amazon so wouldn't be in their commercial interest to do such?

Most defiantly not the case! Can be very frustrating to get a return case started out of the blue for something sold over a month ago! [and also suspected fraudulent returns eBay don't care about - their fee seems to do nothing! To send a "formal complaint" I was told I had to post a letter to mainland Ireland, which is quite expensive. And how do they reply? By email so much for cost equality... They took weeks to reply to the letter [i think it was forwarded to India] and the reply was just "We will get back to you soon once we have contacted the relevant departments". 2 weeks later from that email and still nothing. ] As for buying, I love eBay, vast array of items which are hard to find in one place! While some prices may be high it's always up to me/you to decide to purchase or not.

I've had 2 requiring log in, 8 just a button or link, 1 re-entering data but no login and 13 notifications regarding their policy changes for GDPR but not asking for action. The world-of-railways/RMWeb one wouldn't be a concern if I could actually get it to log me and acknowledge an acceptance... I really want to stay on the email list for RMWeb/BRM/World of Railways so quite concerned..

I tried too last night and had the same problem. Said email was already registered even though I had previously just pressed the log in button... (Using the find account button, doesn't work as after it had found the account it asks for a password and but then says "This email is already in use. Please log in or use the reset password facility if you have forgotten your password. " Even if I log in to the website not via "find my account" I get the same message.

Did you manage to get the clarification?

It'a "29 things" would be nice if just 1 could be something diesel/electric!

I imagine it would be quite hard from the to add space for the factory to securely install the sound which would delay it getting into other locos which are easier to modify for...

I think it's worth more discussion than just being a wish, considering it is quite a pice of technology . I don't even see a wishlist thread here...

Do you think Hornby will ever make TTS Decoders for non-Hornby locos? Would love a Class 150 TTS decoder and i'm sure many others would love others!
