Hi Mikkel, I've pm'd you regarding the above Thanks Grahame
  8. Not sure if this is the correct place to ask, however here goes......... Further searching in my boxes unearthed an unfinished Blacksmith kit which I commenced ( probably just after King Edward VII was crowned !) and never completed. It would be nice to get it finished and running sometime this year but there is a stumbling block, I have lost the instruction sheet which was included ! May I ask the good folk of this parish if anyone has a copy of the original instruction sheets available, either photo copies or scanned to enable me to complete said model. Any reasonable expenses would be re imbursed. I'm happy to pm if it helps. Thank you in advance
  9. Might be worth you taking some leaflets to hand out....... I think Spec Savers ( others are available!) could do a deal with you !!! Ok I'll get my coat ........ p.s. As the saying goes......It's all in the eye of the beholder. Grahame

  16. Can someone get a bigger box for Ray to stand on, he can't see beyond the shed !! Excellent model and running well yesterday when I saw it for the first time you guys should be proud of what you've achieved. Mind you slight disappointment, I couldn't get a pint of Tribute at the pub !! Grahame

Very interesting combinations of various mediums with an art paper. I have often wondered how effective and how much depth can be achieved using a two dimensional printed paper to get a 3D effect. Think there could be some experimenting coming on! May I ask what printer you are using ? I would like to see Bath stone produced in the Scalescenes range which would be of interest to me specifically. My trial using an A4 self adhesive label printed with brickwork was interesting but I felt there wasn't enough depth ( but that's just me!) however these printed products are far superior to early papers. Happy modelling keep it up. Grahame
  18. Hi Dave, Thank you for the reply, I would be fairly happy to use it but I think I'd seal the u/side first ( MDF man too, boards are ready to put up) and maybe use some double sided carpet tape or similar as a back up. Wish I could bend round a 12 in radius without creaking ! Grahame
  19. Quote "This tape has an adhesive backing", may I ask how well you consider this adheres to the baseboard. Have you treated/sealed the boards prior to using the copper tapes ? I have seen this method used before and think that it provides a very good alternative to providing bus wiring. Looking very impressive, keep up the excellent work. Grahame
  20. Hi Bill, I'm a frequent traveller through Crediton, using the train several times a week from just up the line. If you require any photographs to help I'm happy to supply them for you. The photo was taken on my mobile phone so the quality isn't to great I'm afraid ( perhaps that's why it looks like a model !?!). The new houses were one of my last projects as a LA Building Inspector before I retired last October and sadly a rather good brick built goods shed was knocked down to accomodate the new development, not to my personal liking !! Don't know if you've seen these on the site but I made a model of the station many years ago with a view to possibly incorporating it on a layout ...... Maybe one day it will appear on a Broad Gauge layout ......... maybe? Grahame
  21. Hi there, Just came back from "Creedyford" and thought you might like to add some authentic greenery to reflect the current season ! I'm sure "weed" love to see it ? Ok.....I'll just go and get my coat ! Grahame

You've nailed it, looks so realistic and in my humble opinion, as good as the Pendon stuff ! Top marks. Grahame
