  1. If my postman was like that, I'd have to get a bigger bottle of pills.
  2. Ok ok..!!!!! I've just taken an extra pill..!!!!
  3. As the NRM Locomotion models guy is posting regularly on this thread, I did think that my question might be read by him, and other knowledgeable RMwebbers.
  4. WHAT..!!!! Only 30...????????
  5. Will they produce a quantity to that which is ordered.? Or is the quantity already pre determined.?
  6. I think you need to take another pill Rob.......I've already taken mine today.!!!!!
  7. Hi Guys, can anyone tell me which EWS class 60 worked through Uttoxeter this morning(Wednesday), in the Derby - Stoke direction. It was the lead working loco, towing a dead EWS 66184. Thanks Bob
  8. Rob Are you posting these pictures just to torment me...!!!!! I'm waiting by the computer screen for the call from Hattons, saying my heavily weathered one is in for collection. Your pictures are pure torture...thinking of what is to come. But dont let my sentiments put you off posting more pictures...............they are the only thing thats keeping me from going mad.. C'mon Heljan Keep the pictures coming Rob....you are doing a great job....the BG has clearly caught your imagination, as it has mine. Bob.
  9. What i really meant was that I prefer to go in a shop and buy my stuff, rather than do mail order.....supporting your local shops as it were.
  10. Yes, thats right Ian, a visit is planned to collect mine from Hattons when it arrives. It will be coming out of the box, run on their test track ( DC of course ).......then if it is ok, home it will come to Uttoxeter. Then it will be DCC fitted etc., It'll be a nice day out on the train with my pals too.....they have got mini shopping lists which they will collect at the same time. Wish it would hurry up...!!!! Bob.
  11. I absolutely agree with your sentiments....you pays your money, and takes your chance etc., Personally I prefer NOT to use the Hattons and Amazons of this world.......that said, I'm currently waiting for a Beyer Garratt from Hattons I have no choice)...and also a book about the Garratts from Amazon.
  12. Same here Brian, just ordered one too.
  13. Understand Jim.....Double slips not the cheapest of items.......and dont you think the space between the edge of the base board and the depot is asking for a headshunt or storage line.?? But you know me Jim......if there is a space, put some track in it. Bob.
  14. Hi Jim Just a thought................if you replaced the three way point with a double slip, you could then access all shed roads from the fuelling point that is in a similar position to that which it is in now. Bob.
  15. How about another fuelling road on the opposite side of the one you have.?
  16. Seems a lot of room in there????? What do you reckon they are putting in the hold with them? A load of coal maybe?
  17. Simply because you haven't said that you had tried turning it round. We are only trying to help..!!
  18. As a Crewe lad born and bred in 1948......I'll settle for that as a likeness for the works.....my Grandad was a motion fitter in the famed erecting shops, he retired just as steam finished. Really great work Rob..............you do realise I completely blame you for me ordering a Garratt, you've got a lot to answer for ...........I hope you will do the same for the Hornby Crosti when the time comes. Bob.
  19. B*g* er the logs.......get yourself in that shed and get some modelling done.!!!! Pleased to see you are feeling a bit better. Bob
  20. Yep, they will sort alright..............they will just turn the decoder round. I have come across the same problem with some decoders occasionally.......just accepted something was wrong, spun the decoder round and got on with it. You are quite within your rights to return it for Hattons to put right.....but at least you know what they will do to resolve it. I'm hoping to visit hattons in a few weeks time, to collect my heavily weathered version............I'll fit my own Lenz Standard Plus decoder. ( so the lights work ). Bob
  21. The lights not working is the give away that the decoder is in the wrong way round.
  22. Can someone remind me of the forecast date for the Crosti please, or are we not even at a date setting stage yet.? Bob
  23. Forget the pills Rob, both you and Brian are beyond help......and with a bit of luck, I'll be joining you. Bob
