Such a missed opportunity, unless the grilles aren't improved and the windscreen/roof curve errors aren't corrected then it looks like 2 cancelled orders, and I'll wait till Bachmann produce a 45/1, they have a much better looking Peak IMO....

Would be great to get some early Cat equipment, as you say D8's D9's, scraper trailers and the old twin engined Terex scrapers....we live in hope..

well done to the organisers for finding such a good venue at short notice, good space with good facilities, fine with me if the show remains there.

OO gauge Crowdfunded APT-P (Warley announcement)
rubber duck replied to DJM Dave's topic in DJModels
Ladies and Gents. I'd like to apologise for my unsporting choice of words used in my posts yesterday, In hindsight it was too harsh and uncalled for, I need to remember that other people may have different views to me, after all this is a very broad church that i would like to remain a member of.... once again apologies for any offence caused. Regards Peter. -
OO gauge Crowdfunded APT-P (Warley announcement)
rubber duck replied to DJM Dave's topic in DJModels
So whats the point of this thread if the people that are actually funding this project can't post on it? If you ask me id suggest this thread would be much better without all the wasters who have no intention pf purchasing the APT....Just my opinion you understand.... -
OO gauge Crowdfunded APT-P (Warley announcement)
rubber duck replied to DJM Dave's topic in DJModels
Its fine by me, I'm financially supporting this product and received my email yesterday, some lovely little details to look forward too.... So until any of the moaners on here produce their own version of the APT I'll stick with this one. -

I'm clutching my tinkle in excitement.... -
Visited for the first time on Monday, The shop is inside an industrial unit, the owner of said business is a keen railroad modeller so set up the shop as a bit of a sideline, Its a very clean, bright and tidy shop, very friendly staff, I was offered a tea on arrival, good range of products, not just American, Locos tested before purchase, Highly recommended from me. Regards Peter.

ICI Hoppers from Hatton's in Partnership with Oxford Rail
rubber duck replied to Andy Y's topic in Hattons
Just received my twelve hoppers, must say I'm very impressed with the overall quality and would like to thank Hattons for producing a much requested model in RTR form, agree the weathering is not quite version 2 but Dave has already explained within this thread why it wasn't quite possible to recreate on a production line, Certainly not a deal breaker for me, -
They should consider selling the retooled bodies separately so we can swap them over on our older models, saving a fair bit of money....

Duncan, I'm not Junglebaldster but I am familiar with his work, Unfortunately I wont be able to attend the Halifax show as that's my nights weekend, but have a good one. Regards Pete.
