  1. All I've done since I came home is be a taxi.. pickup at the station, goto the Chippy, collect parcel from the post office, drop her off at Asda, pickup again, next is a kids party, then take the mrs to a party...

Solicitors taking the piss Almost cost me & my 2 kids £28,000 in Inheritance Tax between us with probate by not reading the Will right & missing that £70,000 was going to charity which just drops the total below the limit A good job my Dad & I pick it up But this is what we are paying for so we should not have to tell the Solicitors what in the Will as they have the original will so a big GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR from me

  12. Well, that's my car written off (in the MOT) after 17 years of fitful service!

  13. The model railway has lain dormant for several months. I cleaned the track and ran some trains with absolutely no problems. I've been putting off using it as it usually takes an hour of faffing about to get it going.

  14. Conned, yet again on Ebay !! Bought some N gauge society polybulk kits.....no bogies with any of them.

  15. Well, the Jetta failed the MOT didn't it.... Front spring broken right at the end, didn't see it and didn't feel it but I know when it happened, Blxxdy pot holes in Glasgow a few weeks ago. Jetta has passed everything else though including the emissions.

  17. Man, that was embarrassing! Took car to Halfords for a replacement rear indicator light. Normally I'd fit something like that myself but car sometimes be a bit of a pig for a simple job like that. 'Why don't you use their "we fit it for you" service'? says Mrs 4479. In a moment of weakness I agreed - only for the bulb to be fitted by a nice Philippino lady - and it took her about 30 seconds. Man, that was embarrassing!
