  1. You mean the 87/2? Already done by Bachmann, albeit with the later number.
  2. Did you really need to post that? Now I have to buy one..! 5 mins later, there bought it. Now what about that class 40?
  3. Considering how quickly the rtc mk2b sold an rtc 84 would surely be a success. I'd happily buy 4 or 5 of the other 9. To my mind the 81 is the least distinctive, being very similar to the 85. The 82 and 83 also have the benefit of intercity livery too, which the 81 didn't get.
  4. I'm simultaneously relieved and disappointed. At least I can avoid spending money on this one. For a nano second I thought it might have been one of the other electrics at barrow Hill, rather than the 89, which we all expected would be released sooner or later. Best quote from the video was Mike wilds in depth questioning about it having metal wheels! Thank goodness he cleared that one up. After all I bet those sneaky guys at accura would've tried to use plastic ones!
  5. Is it possible to fit the accurathrash speaker in through the roof hatch, or is it a body off job. Don't fancy replacing those brake chains again !
  6. Yes. That's exactly what I was going to say next. You're part of this plot too aren't you. Possibly a sleeper agent, which reminds me, I need a lie down. Second of five deltics arrived today and fitting the buffer beam details and fixing an escaping chain has made me light headed. Still that's another 6.75 credit!
  7. So let's get this absolutely clear. You announce a new deltic model, keep us informed about its progress constantly, answer inane questions patiently, including "is it here yet?" approximately 3,168 times in the same thread, then when its ready it turns out to be one that competes for best model of all time, in 23 different guises at launch, at a price as much as £50 lower than its other contenders, send them all out within a couple of days free post, then give 3% cash back, and then, perhaps if I have an axe to grind, or have suffered psychological damage from being dropped on my head as a child, or if I'm under the influence of hallucinogenic substances I can write an ill informed histerionic review claiming that accurascale is a tool of the illuminati. And then you give me £2! Hahaha haha. I love you guys. Totally crazy!
  8. But I don't think they specified it was rolling stock. Hmm, what could compliment those deltics, 31s and suburban? Obviously the BIG announcement is King's Cross Station building and roof.
  9. I bought six packs of mgr wagons, but got no link sent. I'd like to leave a review, is there a way?
  10. Just looked in my account on accurascale website and found I had earned £15.99 credit. Never seen it before, is it this something new? A club card for accura?
  11. The longer you look at that......creation, the weirder it gets!
  12. DJM tooling eh? That fits in with a rumour I heard that your 37 is merely a re-badged triang with class 47 bogies and a nice box or is that just a conspiracy theory? 🤫
  13. Class 81 and a 304 would be perfect. But don't forget the 40 first though!
  14. I'm using hunt couplings on 30 inch radius bends without problem. I found that the coupling mechanisms are sensitive to poorly laid track however. I had unexplained derailments over one point in the fiddle yard where no other loco or stock derailed. On close inspection there was a slight kink in the track where 2 points joined, with a slight change in gradient, never noticed before. Luckily it's not ballasted so a quick adjustment, straightening it out and fixing the gradient and it now runs perfectly. I've also noted that with plenty of running over two to three hours now, the slow speed crawl improves. Just need to see about a couple of replacement chains and then it's all good.
  15. Will the chains be available as spares? I have 2 that have pinged off into oblivion. Otherwise fabulous, with 2 more to follow from Rails.
  16. 5k locos? Well I will happily buy 4 class 40s, so that only leaves you 4996 others to sell!
  17. Keep on harping on! You're right about a class 40. The Bachmann one is OK, but could be far far better, in running, dcc features and detail. Everytime there's an accura announcement I pray to the 4mm scale gods that it'll be a 40.
  18. Can't see this getting far without one or two locos launched at same time as track.
  19. An 82 or 83 would be very welcome by me. More interesting looking than an 81 or 85 and carried a version of intercity style livery for Euston ecs moves. Never done before by anyone. Would love 4 or 5 for my wcml layout.
  20. I suspect a small announcement will be something like a re run or extra liveries on an existing announcement. Any loco or MU would be more than "small". I agree that a Finsbury 31 would fit the bill.
