  1. You are now going to have to tell us the story behind this now! Is it a mobile nuclear bunker?
  2. Looks like most NDM you get on eBay with pantograph and other details missing!
  3. Hi! Strangely, I had been start to do up an old class 25 last week. Smoothing down the cab fronts to remove the doors. I did look at swapping the wheels for coach wheels as they have the same diameter axles and chopping of the gears. ( you can do that on Lima engines, but they have thicker axles!) Ran in to the same problem you did! is they a Facebook link I can follow or have you got photos on here to see now? Thanks!
  4. Like the Yeoman 59 taking you the ARC PTA wagons! I think it happened when motive power was hired in to cover faults.
  5. I do love the “sky hooks” holding up the building above the missing platforms!

  7. Hi! Have you done some more to this wonderful model?
  8. Looking a bit like a short class 50 in this livery! If only they had keep them on! black window frames? You will be doing a Network South East one next!
  9. No topic for my home layout. This has been a work in progress for too long! A folded figure of eight round the loft. I have done a few n gauge layouts. Newton Craig went to the club’s exhibition. I started this one in December, but it has stalled and waiting for inspiration. My club has a good OO 3rd rail layout, I have been working on.
  10. A better coach as it is a mk3a as in being the loco hauled stock, rather than HST. It has the right roof vents at the ends, rather than the HST style ones. Now for you to make it a four window type RFM! Are you going to make the 8 window TSO? As there were normally only two 7 window TSO per train? What will be your train length? Mk2f DBSO two 7 window mk2f TSO 68XX four 8 window mk2f TSO one mk3a RFM or mk2f RFB two 7 window mk2f FO class 86 or 90 You have made more progress than I have, as I have only done the first paint coat on a Hornby ex Great Central 4 window RFM. Got it cheap when no one wanted them!

  12. Thanks, so really any loco in blue would have two people in the cab up to the 1990s I think there were some class 47 that lasted all their later days in blue. (Plus rust!). Any post privatisation is DOO.
  13. I want to put drivers in the cabs of my locos. When did the secondman position disappear? I have a range of liveries from blue to EWS maroon and gold.
  14. Must be really impressive to sit back and watch them run! Have you made the U coach? (the one with the pantograph well, with no pantograph!!)
  15. Great! How many coaches are you running in your class 390s?
  16. Any progress in this lock down period? You might have to ask your friend to send you photos.
  17. Ex HST TRFK 10203 four window ex FO 10214, 10216, 10223, 10228 fifth window half size. ex RFB 10241,10247 were four window as well. I know these are later liveries on the sample coaches, but you get the idea. Please remember that “rule one “ can apply as it can be hard work cutting out and filling windows!
  18. Hi are you going to convert the mk3 rfm to a four window type as Anglia had these and one converted from a FO with only the middle windows different
  19. Good idea! At least you will have consistency with the colours! You can make them a bit individual with weathering.
  20. https://modelmaster.uk/4mm-anglia-railways/2047-mm4040-three-pairs-of-anglia-lettering-for-sides-of-locomotives-white-orange.html precision paint https://www.phoenix-paints.co.uk/products/precisionrailway/privatisation/easternprivatisation/14p313
  21. There appear to be four RFB (restaurant first buffet) that received Anglia Railway livery. 1214, 1215, 1218 and 1219. The others were in virgin livery for the cross country 7 coach sets. Here are 3 of them in some of the last mk2f sets that were used before they switched over to mk3s and class 90. In fact the last carriage set are mk3 possibly in ex virgin livery or the new ‘One’ livery.
