  1. Nice work! I think you will find the Mk2F BSO were not used with the Anglia trains out of London Liverpool street to Norwich with the class 86. They used the modified DBSO (Driving Brake Second Open) which original worked the MK3 shove Duff (class 47) Edinburgh Glasgow trains. These two photos are of later painted de branded Anglia trains livery to match Mk2f TSO which worked charter trains and in four carriage sets in south Wales with top and tail class 37s around Cardiff. Good luck with the project!
  2. It is still available if you want to do a dissection! (Not mine , before you ask!)
  3. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/293463214527 just found this Arriva Trains Wales coach. Look like a RFM conversion. Not to sure about the plaster of Paris sides and felt tip pen windows. Might have a good body underneath if soaked for awhile!
  4. Here is an unmodified one for comparison. Yours is a great improvement! So from one piece of plastic card you made the door and the rubbing plate! You had a good steady hand cutting that out with the curved bit at the top!
  5. Nice! Do you have a photo of your modified gangways and end doors? Thanks!
  6. Great! Do you work there?
  7. Great! Who’s paint and which tin numbers did you use on the class 153? Is it the same as the new MK4 DVT and clas 67 combo?
  8. At 3:21there is a 47 with a string of freight liner carrying open sided And topped container s. Are these worth modelling?
  9. Just seen some photos of the ‘New’ mk4 set on flickr Any one know the colours the DVT and 67 are painted in? Are they the same as the DMUs?
  10. Nice Ford containers. When were they used? I have seen photos that suggest 1960-1975. Does anyone know when they were phased out for newer versions?
  11. Talking about CKs. When cutting and shutting the sides to make other useful coaches, what do people do with the corridor side with all the small windows?
  12. Found this on Flickr! Looks like the 10 TEAs could use a 33 to bring them in
  13. Is this triang wagon the same as the bogie chlorine wagon? Has anyone detailed it?
  14. All very nice! Thanks for posting! The hand rails and jumpers really lift the fronts. Needs to be done with Hornby class 86s as they just paint them on! I need to wait for good weather and do a batch of them.
  15. Perfect! I am guessing the sequence is: 1.strip and clean body 2. Any modifications for cab jumper cables, fill hole for pantograph selection switch, etc 3. Black under coat ( does roof!) 4. White under coat on ends 5. Yellow ends 6. Virgin grey 7. Virgin red 8. Gloss varnish 9. Transfers 10.Matt varnish 11. Fit name plate, windows, pantograph, jumper cables, fire extinguishers and electrical cables on roof. 12. Weathering 13. Paint cab interior and fit driver. 14. Admire good work! Of course masking the bits you want to keep! Any pictures of the ones you have repainted against one straight out of the box?
  16. Your work is amazing! There must be a lot of modellers out there who use your work as a go to reference point. Any chance of putting an index at the start so us mere mortals can find the relevant page for a model. You have been somewhat busy! cheers!
  17. Nice to see you have made the cat a viewing platform at the right height! Can he write down the numbers he spots?
  18. Were the multi coloured mk1 bits exchanged in Sheffield?
  19. The best therapy comes from our four legged furry friends! Normally people think of dogs and cats, but I have found rabbits have very good bedside manner! The bonded pair I have are very good at making you stop a busy life for needed chill time. ( Rabbits only stretch out flat when they feel safe and not threatened by any predators.)
  20. 4,5,6 supply passenger and parcel trains to a two road platform. 1,2,3,4 supply goods trains for the yard A, B. A to 1,2,3 also provide a run round loop returning on B. Morley Road is the layout thread, but I posted on here as people do not always respond to layout threads.
