  1. Are you going to try to add cab door handles?
  2. Great layout! what is the height from the floor for the fiddle yard and the main layout? I see you are adding storage space under the fiddle yard. Can never have enough!
  3. Hi! Have you started painting your mk4s into WAG white body with red doors yet? Pictures would be nice!
  4. Thanks! So the black sheep of the mk2 family then! A strip and paint to blue grey or mod to regional/ trans peninne is called for. Or sell!
  5. Hi! did any mk2b receive scotrail ? ie executive with the blue stripe instead of red. I have the Lima mk2b TSOT executive buffet, which I know is fiction. Under the mk2c label, would painting the top dark grey in provincial blue be accurate and change the red stripe to light blue? Also how come the mk2b coaches were retired early compared to mk2a? were there non standard components?
  6. At least we know any pictures on the web of multi liveried mk1 based DMUs or EMUs have come from your stable!
  7. Love all these dmu conversions! At least you can run them in their half finished state. Is the paint workshop on strike or on extended leave? Whilst the management debate what shade of green to paint the stock!

  9. Photos of pictures in the present day waiting room on Swanley station. Did the post office have its own unique franking stamp?
  10. At least the driver can see the track ahead with the new see through cab front!
  11. Great! Now the hard decision. Which livery?
  12. Great idea! At least the DMUs are short (153), not like these new EMUs four carriages and a power module! Class 745
  13. I like these photos as you have 21st century emus, 20th century locomotive and possibly 19th century signal box!
  14. Nice project! Are you going for 100% Anglian on you passenger trains? Or are you going to have a mix up with intercity Swallow livery? Will you have room for a full rake of a class 86, two firsts, restaurant, six seconds and a DBSO?
  15. https://www.flickr.com/photos/75265191@N02/9324074268/in/photolist-aLivb8-5kn2vA-24Ucz5A-5Uycpd-mMfpcs-RuQ4Ft-mMfpWJ-mMfr1h-fcWjrb-fozcWV-5jppZ6-wAdPA-JtRpcU-kGP5Ut-ccVuab-22C2bZA-9TCMEw-22C2bho-9XevGG-9eW8aY-HZVd76-22C2bhy-FHF9N2-FHF9qi-22C2bKh-FHF9QM-GDgBkV-Hf5E5L-Hfbwp3-22C2auw-J6X5XN-25pmHax-26eykVs-2gHiLB3-vD7JYz Found this. At first I thought the round circles were metal plates for the Heljan crane to pick up with! But, they are filling hatches.
  16. Great update! Now to change the livery to IFF or UBC. http://www.revolutiontrains.com/the-incredible-bulk-30-containers-from-revolution-and-c-rail/ Just found this! Wrong scale, but helpful!
  17. http://www.barrowmoremrg.co.uk/BRBDocuments/Book230Issue.pdf This might help a bit! Give the barrowmore guys a call if you are wanting to use it for commercial reasons. Good luck with the project. It looks great!
  18. Hornby sell a lot of their older container flat wagons with two 30’ containers. Now days everything is 20’, 40 and increasingly 45’. when did the 30’ drop out of regular use? I am guessing that a lot of the liveries Hornby’s 30’ container carries are fictitious to the point where, they only appeared on 20’ and 40’ ones.
  19. Hi! Great layout! any close up photos of the blue TTAs?
  20. Great video! Recognise the tunnel portals at the start from your layout!
  21. This might help. Great sequence of train arriving, then backing up to run round. MK2A coaches, a MK1 RBR and a class 47 576(called Kings Lynn at Kings Lynn!!) all in NSE livery. looks like: 47,TSO, TSO, TSO, FK, BSK, RBR or RMB, TSO, TSO, TSO going north to Kings Lynn from London
  22. The kit does all types of Lima mk2b non air-con. if you get them direct from southeast, the price can be better than some eBay items. You do have to file out the small windows quite a bit otherwise the ‘glass’ gets squashed! The air-con coaches are easier, only four sides per window!
  23. I like the driver in his white shirt and tie! Is it summer time or has he cranked the heating up in the cab at the cost of his passengers!!
