The blackbird is a ground feeder
We have at least 2 that come. One looks around nervously as it feeds and leaves peacefully, the other feeds greedily then leaves to a chorus of alarm calls.
I gave mine away because firstly the lens was not very good (fringing) and second it is not stereo vision and so no depth perception. I went for a good strong fluoro, back in the day when LEDs weren't yet available, plus stronger reading glasses. I find with this combination I can work longer before strain sets in. For non spec wearers just buy a pair of reading glasses +2 dioptres should do it. I would buy from an optician (c£20) as the newsagents £2 jobs are a bit pants. BTW the blue plastic visors that you appear to screw to your head just give me a headache.
About a year ago I reported on here that Silhouette were no longer supporting Win10 for earlier models, lovely.
Edit: I use a Win7 laptop as a work around.
Is it just me? I have never filled gaps in pointwork or track in EM, makes a lovely clickety clack as the trains pass. Layout built in the mid year months, lives in a garage and been there for over 10 years with no issues.
