  3. "suspected of being hit by a sudden strong wind, causing the hull to deviate... and accidentally hit the bottom and run aground".
  4. The blackbird is a ground feeder We have at least 2 that come. One looks around nervously as it feeds and leaves peacefully, the other feeds greedily then leaves to a chorus of alarm calls.
  5. Simplest way is 4 off 1n4001 diodes in series. Should drop between 2.8 and 3.2 volts
  6. Wayne, I can see the need for slips and diamond B6, however the RTR EMGS points are only £4 more than your kit?
  7. I gave mine away because firstly the lens was not very good (fringing) and second it is not stereo vision and so no depth perception. I went for a good strong fluoro, back in the day when LEDs weren't yet available, plus stronger reading glasses. I find with this combination I can work longer before strain sets in. For non spec wearers just buy a pair of reading glasses +2 dioptres should do it. I would buy from an optician (c£20) as the newsagents £2 jobs are a bit pants. BTW the blue plastic visors that you appear to screw to your head just give me a headache.
  8. Food (uncooked or cooked) and garden waste collected free every week. Composted and sold.
  9. I think the issue here is your minimum radius. I do not know any EMers who would go down to 26" curves, my min is 4'.
  10. Known as guessing sticks and wishing wheels at the time.
  11. I do not know about coach overlays but I have photos attched to mount board that are 30 years+ old.
  12. About a year ago I reported on here that Silhouette were no longer supporting Win10 for earlier models, lovely. Edit: I use a Win7 laptop as a work around.
  13. Is it just me? I have never filled gaps in pointwork or track in EM, makes a lovely clickety clack as the trains pass. Layout built in the mid year months, lives in a garage and been there for over 10 years with no issues.
  14. Just a little tweak needed of the alignment between the curved switch rail and the common crossing. Love it though.
  15. Cannot be harder than these surely https://www.britishfinescale.com/category-s/1841.htm
  16. I have forwarded to a Board member, he has forwarded the link on. Hope you get contact soon.
  17. I have a portrait, so not sure how it relates: Blade 10, SP1, Force 33, 2 passes; for 10thou plasticard
  18. My wife has had waits of over an hour with Barclays and Yorkshire in the last couple of weeks.
  19. There are pins in the moulding that locate into holes in the sleepers (if they are the same as in n gauge)
  20. @AY Mod thanks for fixing this. (couldn't work out how to create a mention)
