  1. Nice one! I think I might also get 60029 as well. Perfect to go with my red TEA tankers.
  2. Same here. I get the point about 60100 being the final Class 60 but there was a post on WNXX a few years ago about 60001 and 60100 being earmarked for NRM as the first and the last Class 60's. Maybe things have changed since then.
  3. Well to be honest. The Class 60's have been with us for a while and times are changing. Perhaps DC Rail will take over the super 60's that were overhauled and I am sure that GBRF would be interested in them maybe? Sadly nothing lasts forever but I am grateful I was able to see them in the flesh from 1991 to 2017 when I left England. I am sure 60001 and 60100 will join the NRM this year once the 66/6's are in service. Also it will be the final tether that will be severed for my interest in UK freight as I am more into American and Canadian trains these days. But I will still buy the lovely looking Cavalex Models example when they come out. I will buy 60010 and a triple grey one that will see off my two Hornby models I now have.
  4. 60084 "Cross Fell" with the Transrail Logos could be viable?
  5. I was there on the Saturday. Here is my video from the show. It was nice to bump into some friends from Bangor as well.
  6. Someone mentioned to me on YouTube today that they would like to see a new Class E2 Tank Engine in the LBSC livery. I have the Hornby model from 1980 but I thought someone would have done a new model by now. Apparently not but then again. I am more into diesel and electric trains but I respect steam as well. So here is a question. How popular would a new Class E2 be and is there enough demand to warrant such a new model?
  7. How viable would it be to propose some new Mk3A/B's into the range? I am more for BR era and early privatisation of 1997/8 but that's the limit. I wouldn't say no to a more wallet friendly HST pack either of a 2+2 starter pack like Lima used to do. Now I have another question? Are EMU's viable in OO gauge for Accurascale? Why? Because I would like to propose a NSE Class 319 EMU for OO gauge. Crumbs, if they pull that one out of the hat! It will pwn anything else in the OO gauge EMU range for BR era at the very least!
  8. Despite these might look like a fire truck at the front ends. I have a feeling these will be for unit haulage work and the GBRF ones will likely work container intermodal trains.
  9. If I designed the Class 93's. I would make them look more like a mix of a Class 92 and an ALC-42 at the front ends. If Stadler wants a designer, I would be happy to help them out and I have designed some pretty looking locomotives as concepts 😉.
  10. I have some of these in Train Simulator. I like the models and I might get some of these to go with a Class 37 in RFD. Nice work RT.
  11. I like the livery. Not too keen on the design, it kind of reminds me of a robot at the ends. Maybe they will grow on me in the future.
  12. Or you could use Class 91 sounds like Dovetail Games did for the TS Classic one on train simulator 😉.
  13. From my understanding. The Irish rails have more space for larger stock than the UK hence the DD stock being more roomy compared to the Eurostar stock. I would imagine that had the Nightstar been successful. That stock would have been a similar length. VIA Rail in Canada bought the former nightstar stock and use it on services around Canada with F40PH's and P42DC's and I wouldn't be surprised to see them being used with the ALC-42's should VIA Rail buy them. Meanwhile here is one of the Class 373's at London St Pancras in 2009. Original livery without the "snail" logo. I do like the original livery the most. It suits the train.
  14. An all new Class 373 Eurostar model? I know its niche for the Channel Tunnel and the oddball GNER White Rose services from the 2000's. But its a sleek ultra fast high speed international train that connects the UK to Europe and still is in use today in some extents. Personally I would have the original livery Eurostar and obviously this would need to be done in packs as the base set and then the extension car packs too. If ACS has permission from Eurostar to this pack and use the EPS branding. Maybe some EPS Class 92's as well could be done? The latter being an additional triple grey livery as 92045 Chaucer and 92046 Sweelinck in EPS. Now here is a question? Who would want a new super detailed Class 373 Eurostar in OO gauge? Let's help Accurascale out here and please give my post a like if you would agree as the feedback will help Accurascale and I thought it would help Fran and the crew out with the feedback.
  15. I am sure Accurascale could do one and possibly the WYMPTE Class 155 DMU's as well. As long as the Class 153/155 would be viable models for ACS to make. I think we are in for some right treats in the coming years especially after seeing those new Class 66's. Last time I was in England was in 2017 when it was EMT Class 153's at Barnetby and TPE 185's and I would love to get both models for a planned layout I will be making in the future.
  16. I too would love to have one of these as a OO gauge model. I am moving into OO gauge again, so this is perfect for me. One for Irish Railway Models range. Talking of Mk5a's and the 68's. There were trials on those to Cleethorpes recently as I saw them on a YouTube video at Doncaster. I am happy that you detected my reasons for a 153 and a 185 as they would compliment these Mk5's as I believe Northern still use their 153's on the Cleethorpes to Barton Upon Humber workings? Its a nice way to make complimentary models that would fit on the one layout around Barnetby. I do 1979 to 2017, so I would need a Regional Railways and a EMT Class 153 model minimum should ACS consider one in the future. Also as for the Class 73/9's. I don't know those too well, so I would assume they would be used on the Scottish highlands based layouts only?
  17. Personally I like them as they are and they are better than printed ones like on older OO gauge Class 92 models from the 1990's. I wouldn't be surprised to see a model of 92009 Elgar in its BR/RFD form and 92045 "Chaucer" with EPS logos in the future. I've caught the bug! 🤣. I have been diagnosed with Accurascale Class 92 Fever and the only way to cure it is to get all of the BR/SNCF/EPS triple grey ones as they come out! 😉. Joking aside, I am so happy to own three of these awesome models from them!
  18. Should I propose a Class 153? Why? The Class 153 being a single car unit would be a great fit for those that do BR to present day as some are still in use although some have been replaced to my learning on the present day era and the last time I saw one was when I lived in England until 2017. The Class 153 would be friendly to those that have a small shelf layout and with the tech that Accurascale has under its belt. Body mounted couplers and ploughs would be a walk in the park. As I previously proposed a Class 185 in a previous post. Both DMU's would have been regulars at Barnetby in 2016/2017 and with their Class 66 coming out and someone else doing an all new Class 60. We would have all the traction required for doing Barnetby in 2016/2017 as someone has done the modern TEA tankers for the Class 60 and DB has used 66's on the TEA tanker workings in the past. Hence why I am also proposing the possibility of an all new Class 153 with the new tech that Accurascale has under its belt. It would be a nice fit for most layouts and a nice companion for the newer Class 156 that has been covered by another maker. As I do BR. I would get a Regional Railways one and an East Midlands Trains example for sure. So with all that said. Who else would like a new Class 153 for their layout or diorama?
  19. I know I am assuming things here. But I wonder if they chose moulded roundels to keep production costs down? Personally I can live with them but it would have been nice if they used foil overlays to add the metallic look? I know there is metal chrome sheeting available as I used to use it on my Tamiya Model Kits and I used it on a Moebius 1952 Hudson Hornet kit. I wish I kept the remains of the chrome sheet as I would have used it on the roundels to add the metal look back onto the model. You can import the chrome sheeting from the USA and it is sticky back. Just a scalpel to trim it and be careful not to scratch the paint! 😉.
  20. Here is my first DCC Installation Guide to installing a Digitrax KN163K1B Decoder Board into a Kato GE ES44AC. It's the first guide I have ever done with a Digitrax decoder but as I love to help other people. I will be posting how to DCC installation guides into N and OO gauge model trains to help others out. I believe in give and take. www.youtube.com/watch?v=nGO2v7fNRs8
  21. Just wanted to show 92003 with the BR and depot plates added. Just a cocktail stick and some PVA glue will do the job fine and save a lot of woes as its more forgiving! Now its time to work on 92043 and 92022 that I will show later. I love these Accurascale Class 92 models.
  22. This came into my Facebook feed today https://www.facebook.com/AccurascaleUK/posts/pfbid028cvkkKwV4Mcs5hmACggqx7RchC8rLoVJofqXxkBznsDzBgajyVg7A2hVCwBiknnXl What a lovely model this is! 😉 EDIT: Sorry Facebook won't let me embed this post into this post on here :(.
  23. I am so getting one of these. I think I will vouch for the six car pack! I have to admit although I prefer loco-hauled trains. I do like these DEMU's as well.
  24. I would have one as it was the last DMU I rode when I was in England. Lovely sounding units as well mate. I would prefer the Nova livery but I would be happy with any livery as I rode them many times to Barnetby.
