  1. From the heart. I wouldn't be surprised to see a refurbished Class 50 variant to come in the future but I like the NSE "Toothpaste" version of the livery (the one with upward swoops) as well as the large logo. Another gem that is probably going to shake the ground metaphorically speaking and some new Mk2's coming as well. We will have a nice consist to make here 😉. Time for me to sell some N scale and make some room. I am so doing a review of one of these monsters. I appreciate it mate.
  2. Search for either Transport & Simulation Hub or BritishRail60062 as I kept the latter common on most social media to make it easier for people to find me mate. As to keep on topic. I am getting an NSE and a BR Large Logo model.
  3. Anyone making a OO gauge Class 185? Or a Class 319? I will press my luck and propose those two models. Whatever Accurascale does, I respect them for their dedication to quality and innovation! The Class 185 would complement the TPE CAF cars at least. I am assuming their would be enough interest. I am a year out of date on this topic :) .
  4. I have to be honest. I am so looking forward to getting one and doing a video presentation of it on my YouTube channel.
  5. I love the detail of these Class 92's so much that I wanted to do a video of my 92003. Here is my review of it. Please don't grill me over the TPE Mk5's 🤣,
  6. Dang, I was planning to buy the East Midlands Trains HST later this year as well as I have always liked the livery and these were local to me when I used to live in England until 2017. I think I will get an Intercity Swallow one instead.
  7. Thanks for this post. I think I will hold off until a sale if I decide to buy one of these. Shame about the poor livery application.
  8. Hi everyone. If I am to add to the roster list. I would like to see some Murco TDA tank cars and the post-2006 TEA Tank cars in OO gauge. With the new Cavalex Models Class 60 coming out. Some new Murco TDA's and rusted debranded ones like those used on the Colnbrook-Lindsey Aviation Fuel trains would be ideal. Please make them more robust as not only would the price be more inline with the other range of freight cars. They will be less likely to fall apart in transit and handling. Personally I like to have a 50/50 for detail/robustness. As for N gauge. Maybe a new Class 60 with day/night lights, sound option and working marker lights please. The technology is already there as demonstrated with other brands that make an N scale Class 92, hint hint ;).
  9. In truth, I have respect for Simon Kohler. Spoken to the man at a few shows over the years. Will be missed and I wish him well on his future. After being a loyal customer to Hornby for over 33 years solid and Hornby is a brand I hold close to my heart. I can say that he will be missed by me.
  10. That looks fantastic. I would be happy to buy an Intercity Executive version. Nice work Accurascale!
  11. I am like this as well. I do video reviews of the model trains I buy as when I pay my own money for them. I can give an honest view of my models without any comeback. I am neutral with all brands to be honest but I am always fair and give positive and where needed, constructive feedback because the latter helps highlight when the product can be better where its lacking. In truth, I love my Class 92's and I want to cover a Class 50 and a Class 31. Having 9500 subscribers on my YouTube channel since 2008 and staying organic and genuine. I must be doing something right. In truth. I love to support companies like Accurascale and Cavalex as they do care about their customers and my experience with them has been mostly positive. Good vibrations and happy times ahead for me ;).
  12. Thanks for the correction buddy. That clearly shows my lack of knowledge on these locomotives. That said, it had an odd shape to it so now I know its an scanner thingy for the TVM430 like what is used on the Eurostars and TGV's etc. I appreciate it.
  13. Here is my two out of the three I have. 92003 92043 Both are awesome beasts and are heavy enough to pull a very long train. They run great! For analogue users. If you want to turn off the tail lights. Its switch number 3 on the blanking plug. These models are some of the best I have had the experience of owning and I do recommend them. Got mine this month of June 2023 so I don't know if this was from a new batch or from the first batch but I love them! I will be adding the front plough around the pilot and I want to add an engineer into the leading cab of 92043. Since doing this photo. I have added the depot plates and I use just a wee drop of PVA glue to a size of a pin head and add it with a cocktail stick. I prefer PVA because it won't mess up the model or trash the finish unlike other harsher glues. All the best.
  14. I have three Class 92's and the TPE Mk5 pack from ACS. Such a nice detailed model to be respected that I am appointee of ;).
  15. Having recently ventured back into OO gauge after over a year in N scale and HO scale American model trains. I am going to get at least two of these new Class 60's but I cover BR era so I will likely get the Triple Grey ones. I hope that in the future there will be a 60008 "Moel Fammau" model in Triple Grey as I had that one many years ago and the real thing used to stalk me in the 1990's when I was out on trips as I would always see it on steel or oil trains.
  16. Just out of interest. Would a Class 60 in N scale be a viable new model for Accurascale to consider? Especially if there was working marker lights and a nice heavy chassis to give it some weight for haulage without traction tyres. As for the livery, I don't mind as I like most of them although I am more in BR era.
  17. I know its been a wee while since I posted on this forum but I recently got the TPE Mk5 Pack 1 and I have noticed that the lights on the cab car are "reversed" and I use analogue for the time being. Are there any switches to change to make these run correctly? Or would I need to upgrade to DCC? I am happy to post a video of the issue. But I am glad I get myself this pack as its amazing and I respect Accurascale for making superb models at decent prices. I am glad to be back into OO gauge after doing a year of N scale and HO scale American trains.
  18. I will be using mine with a Hornby Class 60! The TPE "Tug-Tastic" Railtour .
  19. That Class 50 looks slick mate. Does it come with metal nameplates like the newer Class 60's from Hornby? Might have to get one myself .
  20. I am sure the wait will be well worth it in the end .
  21. It might be worth asking Hornby to reposition the coupler NEM head to the body frame (the metal bit) as that tends to reduce the likes of derailments. I have issues with lightweight wagons coming off the tracks. Perhaps this will solve the derailment issues. But yet heavy wagons seem to run better.
  22. I have the Fleischmann MultiMaus now so I hope I can knock the sound down a wee bit. As when I had the Hornby Select, it wouldn't touch CV settings so the good thing is that I have more control now and I just need to practice with the MultiMaus to get the hang of it .
  23. Having experience with the Legomanbiffo sounds on the Hornby Class 60. I would have no problems in buying his sounds again. If I were to buy three with sound. I would hope that the volume isn't too loud out of the box because although I love DCC sound mate. I certainly do not wish for my passionate hobby to annoy others especially with these lockdowns in place .
