    If you don’t mind destroying the transfer you are removing, sticking and rubbing down masking tape over the transfer and then peeling it off sometimes works. Hopefully the paint underneath should stay in place. Cheers Darius

    Thanks Robert. I masked the container sides using Tamiya tape - without pushing it into the troughs between the ribs. I sprayed Halfords Mustard Yellow at a 12in distance using short bursts with the nozzle above the masking line. This results in a neat paint edge with relatively easy masking. Cheers Darius

    The 37 RR trailing bogies came with the pickups with a drop of solder on the pads ready for wire attachment. Peter’s Spares has only one left so I have purchased two motor bogies for the split headcode Type 3 - no shortage of power for this loco... Cheers Darius
