    New tts 08

Anybody else impressed with the new Hornby tts 08 the blog..? I wonder how hard it will be to do a body swop as I wouldn't mind changing livery as dbs bit to modern for me..
  10. Arr yes.. I think someone will know those minute details... If any... I have some homemade mrl transfers if you feel tempted Grizz lol
  11. Im thinkin of getting some Dapol HIA and putting TF25 BOGIES on em thus making mrl IIA.. And using moddelers 'Licence'..can I get away with it..
  12. From my research and photos on the net... Would I be right in thinking the Dapol HIA can be converted to a Hanson JHA with the addition of ltf bogies.. Just wondered..
  13. Ltf25 bogies... Now I needed those for something, what was it I cant remember...
  14. the main YEOMAN seemed to go on rather smoothly with not much adjusting and only took me a few minutes to manipulate to the right position- luck maybe. Perhaps not perfect but the 'mistakes wont be recognisable to the eye.. I consider all my scratchbuilds to be a good representation of the prototype in my mind because perfection can never be achieved , us modellers have to be pragmatic and accept compromise! I will give them a splash of decal fix and weather em up at the weekend.. maybe even some Graffiti!! noooooooooooooo!!!
  15. The transfers go on just about ok so my measurements are not to bad. A pleasing project. Transfers everywhere on the workbench!
  16. 200 pairs!!Yes I have about 10 bachman ones and some whitemetal skits ones.. Like you Im looking for prototypes to use them on...
  17. Good to see those TF25 are still going strong!! You must be getting low on stock levels Grizz.... ;-)
  18. Nice to have you back Grizz.. I thought I was on my own for a minute.. I got the bsc bogies from george at s kits at the big exhibition in burton in the summer... He says he will do a kit of the PHA which hasnt materelised yet... I have a fondness for the Lima pta, I still think they are worth a project.. Just wondered if anyone has ever seen a 57 down at westbury...
