Oh dear. Someone may have missed the relevance of 1980s slang.

I've only had one other report in 48 hours and not seen it at this end.

= I don't want your excess information, I only want what I want. When I need the rest I will ask at my convenience. 🙄 Which then leads to the selfish ignorance of local Facebook groups where everything from "when's the next bus?" through to "who is the best builder?" questions occur ad nauseum rather than researching anything. I don't think they're doing anything more important with the rest of their time.

This topic is symptomatic of something that bugs me. An accusatory topic was created to which I respond with an acknowledgement which there has been no acknowledgement of from the OP. This week I have had eight PMs, Contact Us messages and emails asking for advice or assistance to which no acknowledgement or thanks have been returned. I do lodge these upstairs so that next time they won't get a response. I'm always happy to help and respond, at least once. However, my time is of no lesser value than your own*. Many people have, and do, reply but there seems to be an increasing number of people these days who don't acknowledge a response to a question they have raised, it's also a work environment thing and the lack of courtesy really does grate with me. * I am guilty of a number things I haven't had chance to reply to that require a bit more time for a proper response but they're not things where someone has a problem.

Sink hole at Grange-over-Sands 22/03/2024
AY Mod replied to beast66606's topic in UK Prototype Discussions (not questions!)
Fair play to her; she's capturing and saying what she sees - it's not about 'me me me me' like so many others. She then took the time to go back, do more, and do it better. She's got good character.- 71 replies

It is correct for it as presently seen in The Engine House. -

My colleague has mentioned this (what the hell's he doing on there?). I look forward to the new 'long drop' facilities overhanging the North car park. -
Awful to see such tragedies with modern-day clarity. Just watched the press briefing with the the heads of the various agencies. I'm sure they all have far more pressing demands than having to answer questions from reporters that quickly move from relevant to the utterly stupid. It's sad that they have to spend time plugging information vacuums for the hard of understanding. I take my hat off to the city mayor for keep pulling it back to the people and the current focus whilst staying dignified; one cool dude.

Frankly, he wasn't wrong. Too many topics get littered with people asking questions that have already been answered - simply because they don't want to spend their time reading (or using the search function) what has already been discussed and illustrated. -
Found this whilst grazing... Borails? With untethered skips? The linked pic suggests Stevenage but I'm not convinced. It's not something I've ever noticed before (or seen modelled) so what sort of traffic is it?

Nice tidy job Mark, I must admit I preferred building an original rather than a soft Dapol one. https://www.rmweb.co.uk/blogs/entry/3019-prestwin-dear-packer-no-57/ -
That was a couple of years later; sadly I couldn't make that year. Best sounding forest car, full stop.

I'm only basing it on my observations of a degree of bias evident in your postings over the course of a year. -
I was in the grandstand at Highgate that we got turfed out of as it was starting to sink just after the F3000 started. Weekend diversion over.

It was usually around August Bank Holiday which, also, has it's own weather system; as anyone who went to the first Birmingham Superprix would know.

Agreed. So @richscylla, it's clear to me that you are amongst a collective with an agenda that has no place on this site. If any retailers have had any issues they can discuss with Accurascale directly, they don't need your involvement and you are actually doing (most of) them a disservice. -

Apologies for that; I've done it for you so hopefully it's as expected now.
