  1. We've been through this all before, four years ago - Looking back to that the postings from some of the N gauge fraternity were abrasive then too to which I responded: It doesn't seem to have changed much and it's fair to say that the combative stance also means that some manufacturers catering for the scale feel similarly. This topic is not for N inferiority complexes but should be raised in another topic if you wish. Brian and the team put an awful lot of time in and, as OO modellers, have chosen to concentrate their time in OO which makes up around 4/5ths of the UK market, to do the same for N would take as much time again (for the team and me too) plus a bit more for the remaining 1/5th or less. If the NGS or other bodies wish to spend similar amounts of time it's up to them; not for Brian to chase them up. End of.
  2. Not necessarily. One batch/livery may get completed before another and make it onto a part-filled container of other products with the rest following or all batches/liveries may be complete but not fit into the space available in one container. It's not unusual for a split to happen.

Not just legal eagles. My invite to the media briefing for the 2023 range must have got lost. 😎 Anyway, I'm washing my hair.
  4. As Blue Max says; very definitely not. I do know who's behind that.
  5. You'd just missed the last step, to select the Premium theme. I've done that for you now.
  6. It would mean I'd have to be closer than I'd like to their vegetables but, oh, the fear in their eyes.
  7. Click connectors rather than screw. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/353915980320?hash=item5267094a20:g:QQQAAOSwP7xibpe5&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAA4JoW8kpJU9fGMDympG6JCx4k1hdkDaXW3vS2kN4kVw0KOyRWSEq%2FbEumYgqS12hCoXwaXnS0L3i9dEECFvEuJg1kBtZJ%2BjOLq8CtAOknH%2FVpm%2BJpkYEhqKiJtlW2xFYLRfQm%2FWQGsKC%2BcsWTMnygCwe39rgyTVkQDo1aaDKyWTRyM%2BFYNOjyKObkkwKFwpyEVeGA9GAaJphiP9nziGq31VlUHb1eqHENrBGCSn0LqeHsYRXpVqIDt1hiAnDg6E%2BMBfm8vmCCVmnHWIDMIQYxNlo%2FTJAhpxoyRWZocLcHKEsg|tkp%3ABFBMuO-ag5th
  8. I can, at last, smile at my choices. Almost seems a crime to modify and repaint the excellent decoration on them for paddy train service in drab grey.
  9. Many months so far. 🤬 It takes more of my time answering posts/PMs/emails and even phone calls about it than it would of their time to actually do what they have said, numerous times, they will do. Where are they on a Saturday afternoon?
  10. As I've explained numerous times they shouldn't and I'm awaiting a fix from the adtechies on that.
  11. The Digitrains ad is a pop-up/embedded video which won't show up. Banner ads for trade should show in certain areas but they're not displaying at present. I just wanted to make that clear with the 'may' so I'm not misrepresenting anything for the future.
  12. As a Gold user you should already have access to all digital copies Phil.
  13. We certainly do as part of our digital editions, World of Railways website and YouTube channel. I'm locking the topic as it'll just become a repeat of the previously locked one.
  14. Top shelf: Didn't know there was a specialist Mazak Rot book.
  15. Invicta Model Rail Press Release. Opening: 11am Friday 16th December by Louie French MP for Old Bexley and Sidcup We will be offering discounts on both Friday 16 and Saturday 17 December including a free gift with every purchase, while stocks last. Invicta history. Myself and Vernon opened Invicta model rail in April 2013. Prior to this, we both had a long history in the model and hobby world. Starting back to the days of Beatties of London Ltd (Lewisham branch) and then via Modelzone, finally finishing up at the Signal Box (Rochester). We built our new business up slowly and steadily over the years, both trading and also promoting the shop at model railway exhibitions all over the U.K. We backed this up with old school in-store customer service combined with the latest internet based worldwide mail order service. Sadly Vernon became ill in 2017 and after a long battle he passed away in early 2020. I decided to keep the business going and Invicta model rail has continued to go from strength to strength. After the Covid pandemic and subsequent lock down, I have started to rebuild the business with help and support from friends and family, culminating in 2021 with the purchase of the building and thus securing the future of Invicta. As a first step, we are now in a position to open a dedicated N gauge model railway and transport book showroom within our premises at 130 Station Rd, Sidcup DA15 7AB - Google Maps Before his illness this had always been Vernon’s dream, turning one of our storage rooms into increased retail area allowing an expansion of ranges and thus increasing the range of products available to our customers. It is our ambition to expand and maximise the building to its full potential over the coming months and years and to provide a one stop shop for model railway enthusiasts both young and old, experienced or beginners We look forward to welcoming customers, old and new, to our special weekend.
  16. A fair point to lock yet another Modelmaster topic.
  17. 50 052 Chameleon - changes livery based on surroundings 50 053 Spanker 50 054 Happy Entrance 50 055 Cockchafer
  18. I couldn't reconcile it yesterday as you'd used different email addresses on the two systems and I can't see that you ran the integration link. I've done it manually now, you should be ok now.
  19. Fundamentally I would say "Yes". The model will be of The Unknown Warrior which is a locomotive that is created, at least in part, as a memorial.
  20. On my playlist a little earlier today.
  21. Christine McVie, who played with Fleetwood Mac and wrote some of their most famous songs, has died aged 79, her family has said. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-63812952 Hugely upset to hear this news, one of my all-time favourite vocalists, so many memories in every word. For now, this seems the most appropriate.
  22. Tail lamps? Despite the system saying that I could see you'd bought it. I just went and sorted the permissions and your theme so you should be all set. NB - you will still see ads on a couple of the manufacturer's subforums you frequent, it's still awaiting a fix.
