  1. Possibly a factor elsewhere Phil but this is self-inflicted I'm afraid.
  2. Now that's just ridiculous - I've spent a lot of time today explaining that not everyone here is a pillock and then I read that. Maybe they're all right?
  3. It's not acceptable. I've put you in respite care for a couple of days. ;)
  4. I would say it's a low risk location, around 400m from the middle of nowhere.
  5. OK; thanks. I'm on it anyway but that's helpful as I haven't been able to get it to show here. Even if IP locaters think I'm in Runcorn.
  6. Are you still seeing it? I'm seeing the Digitrains ad again at this end today.
  7. I think those images are at Long Marston test centre evidenced by the electrification termination mast in the background. I'd say it's where that jumble of equipment is by the crossing in this Google Earth snap.
  8. I quite like it and it obviously has a lot going for it in practical terms. It it's to replace a footpath crossing there may not be the same accessibility requirements; particularly if the rest of the path isn't accessible for other reasons.
  9. The review model (which is from the production batch) had two small bags taped to the inner ice cube packaging; one containing the longer couplings and lamp and the other with the etched name and worksplates.
  10. It was just me testing the topic with different permission sets after a report that the subforum may not have been functioning correctly. It was fine.
  11. I will be reporting the cryptocurrency ad as being outside our permitted ad criteria. You can ease back on the hyperbole though and talk reasonably. Others have given you a solution though.
  12. I've been using that invisible ink again. Ads/videos may still appear in Accurascale/Revolution/BRM areas etc pending a fix from the adtechies.
  13. I am really sorry I have just seen this but so sorry to read the news of a passing of a long-term member here. RIP Neill
  14. You hadn't changed your theme to RMweb Premium; I've now done that so you shouldn't see them.
  15. You should be able to create a poll using the Poll tab when making the first post in the topic Tim? Many will probably say yes in the expectation that it would cost a £ more; maybe the question is "how much more?".
  16. Just an example I've got to hand. Many shades of dirt on top too.
  17. Probably no more than breathing on it or brewing up a cuppa in the clubroom. The vapour is not particularly dense.
  18. What shade of faded? It varies within any individual loco and from one loco to another. It's also graduated. The best thing is to mix varying amounts of pale grey or white into standard blue to taste. I probably use 4 or 5 shades mixed on any such loco.
  19. Shhh! Jerry thinks people come to look at the layout.
  20. The Poll Team are completely independent of RMweb/BRM. I wouldn't expect Brian to keep asking (would he know of the changes anyway?). Maybe a representative from the society should contact Brian (without the side that has been exhibited in this and the previous topic); it's only polite.
  21. 'nuff said. https://www.ngaugeforum.co.uk/SMFN/index.php?topic=58248.0
  22. Because it's a distraction from this topic and what it's intended for. It just came across as very shouty and belligerent which, knowing how much time the team put it into it all, is upsetting. Excess question and exclamation marks give that impression too.
  23. Fair play to Tom (top bloke); he's pulled his finger out and done something positive rather than farting in the room.
  24. It's frustration (from my side); not apathy. I wouldn't say the militancy is representative of the whole N gauge sector; I see, visit and talk to many as well as getting their layouts into the mag. The inferiority complex just rears it's head periodically and this instance is absolutely the wrong time and place for it and I would say an apology to Brian is owed.
