The only downside to that is not all modellers have the money to pay for models in the shorter amount of time, especially at the moment given the current economic state and a backlog of model announced during Covid. As nice as the shorter wait is for some it may not benefit others. Going by recent announcements, are you looking at them being done when the first EP arrives?

Any chance of some formations for these wagons, I know they change about and mix with others. Just want to get some formation ideas as I'm struggling to find suitable pictures of full formations from the last few years.

They have been used since June 2022, just looked at the operations notice at work. It combines thermal and visible images from the track that is sent back to NR to analyse in order to detect any track or infrastructure issues.

Great to see these put in a thread. Still haven't had the chance to make a start on the kits I have from you. Mainly down to a lack of space to work on them.

So, have just been on the Class 66 page on the Accurascale website and the header photo is of the decorated samples, and it has what looks to be an unannounced version of 66769.

It’s something I want to try and do, got a mate who’s willing to help me but it’s just finding the time and space to do it.

Some great work, I have 59206 on order in Freightliner livery from the 2nd batch, no doubt it will have the same issues with the exhaust and nrm pods as the first batch. Just wish I had the courage to weather my own stock, it's something that really does need doing.

Thought I’d start a thread for Acton Parkway after purchasing the layout about two months ago. Some of you may recognise the layout having previously been exhibited by its original owner Halifax MRC. The layout was sold to a private buyer in 2018, where it has been until I purchased it at the beginning of March. The layout has been sat unused for a few years and requires some work, which is underway. I plan to get the layout back out on the exhibition circuit in the future. The layout was set up for the first time at the beginning of April to see what needed to be done. Most importantly I had trains running for the few days it was up. The first thing to get done is the point motors and track repairs to get the layout fully functional in terms of running trains, this will also include an extension to the sides in order to make the operating area bigger as it is only 2ft wide. Doing this will also allow me to simplify the track layout into the fiddle yard and hopefully allow trains to run better on those sections. Once the electrics are all done then I will move onto scenic work, which may included extending the scenic section by another 4ft, this work will involve having a general tidy up of all scenic areas as well as new signals and new OHLE as it is not in the greatest condition. I hope to keep this thread updated as much as I can when work is done, I have also included a YouTube video from my channel of some running shots from the layouts first testing. Also if anyone has any pictures or videos of the layout when it used it be out feel free to post them. I look forward to sharing updates on the layout and hopefully any comments you have.

Need to get @accurascale to scan you for when they do the drivers for them.

I have pointed out via email about CV17/18 and said they would get the DCC guy to look into it. I’m glad I’m not the only one who has that issue.

This is what 37423 sounds like.

After seeing others comment about issues with the sound, I appear to be in the same boat. 37423 on the first attempt cut out after a few seconds and wouldn’t start again, took the loco off the track then put it back on again the sound now works but is very muffled like the speaker has blown. 37419 the engine start up procedure starts but as soon as the engine starts it cuts out. A message has been sent to Accurascale.

When I last asked at Model Rail Scotland they was waiting for the CADs to be finish for some of the newer versions. Unfortunately forgot to ask them at Ally Pally. Hopefully they have an update soon.

Glad to hear a 2nd batch is in the works, need a few to mix in with my Revolution ones I’ve just ordered.

They might explain why I haven’t had a reply to my email, or I sent it to the wrong one, always the trouble with a show though, don’t know what you’ll catch. Can’t wait to see what’s next.

Good news, the issue has been solved after a few emails with one of the guys. The CV settings where set correctly but that didn’t help so had a play around with them and had to set one CV to a much lower value than it should have but now means the pantograph raises fully now. They suspect the pantograph was set up correctly in the factory. But as always great help from Accurascale as usual.
