What does the panel think of using swede (that'll be neep to viewers up top, but who cares as they're rutabagas anyway) in a veg curry?
The Mrs has gone off to meet her daughter in Malta for 10 days and left loads of veg that isn't pies, sausages, white bread or chips and I'm bu99ered if I know what to do with it!

Well, Bilsdale TV mast has gone up in smoke so I can get in with some modelling while Mrs WF is watching Emmerdale on her tablet.

Hi Robin,
Thank you for that reply .
I have made an enquiry about a 2m x 1m x 3mm closed cell Neoprene sheet and will report back on my experience if I ever build a layout. At the moment I do not even have a baseboard; we can but dream .
BTW According to the web [ so it must be true ] closed cell affords less sound attenuation but greater structural integrity than open cell which has the converse characteristics .
Yors Aye, wpslo .

I don’t mind ad’s on RMweb, as it brings in income. But i’ve just had an ad pop up that would have led me to a scam! Saying i’d won an Amazon fire pad! Be careful people.

getting down with Emojis could get you into trouble.... a member of my team messaged me saying a member of her family had passed away and she would be sorting out things for next few days. Thinking "i get this emoji" lark i pressed the "heart" button which on here means "friendly supportive" but it turns out on my work comms account means "i love what you just said"... a quick follow up apology was sent to assure her i am not the most insensitive boss of the century... damnit i think i'll just stick with words

Just been browsing a few Hornby Facebook posts and the comments from what can only be described as 'Hornby Apologists' are quite hilarious.

You know you’re in for a long journey when someone feels the need to broadcast his entire phone conversation to everyone in a carriage of a Crosscountry Voyager, even shouting ‘it’s a private matter’!

It can be rather agreeable, when one remembers that there are some chocolate brownies in the freezer.

Bagpipes, Vampires and Tinsel at Cannon Street tonight. Everything is so confused, we don't know what time of year it is anymore.
