  1. @robertcwp's site is about as comprehensive as you can get at present and gets added to regularly, and he has obtained permission to make them available.
  2. I'm very glad I don't have any money as with the surname Cooper my ikkle brain keeps poking me saying you know you want to
  3. Hmm, says no "serious injuries" which implies there may have been some non-serious. 10mph isn't much but there's a lot of momentum in a loco even at that speed.
  4. Hopefully everyone is ok, and there's no damage.
  5. I assume this is the relevant bit - but you lose the deposit (which is a contentious subject) but that's it if you cancel
  6. I think you've mentioned before, but are boxes still available to take Mashima motors instead of the newer coreless? Ta
  7. The Markits catalogue lists 14mm and 16mm disks - If my maths is correct then 3'8" should be a smidge under 15mm - so would 14mm coach wheels work?
  8. Think it looks like standard gauge should do - And pretty much any shade of green you like? Might cause a few lineside fires though?
  9. As you are aware that it would be highly unlikely you would receive anything the card supplier (assuming they found out) might well use that as an excuse not to?
  10. I reported the site to here a couple of weeks ago - https://www.ncsc.gov.uk/section/about-this-website/report-scam-website And now it's up for sale. I wonder (probably not) if there's a link. I know they act on things as my colleague wrote a phishing email test site with training if you got court and our MD reported it to them and they shut it down Valuing the business on goodwill and reputation, if he gives me £20k I'll take it.
  11. Hindsight is telling me I should have taken more photos, or at least made sure the ones I did take were in focus.... Maybe these are of some use? SNG at York in 2018.
  12. You can get rid of most of the link - everything from the ? onwards. Anything after that is usually info about how you got to that page and sometimes is used to track you. Hope that helps I've shortened your links in the quote to show what I mean.
  13. Slight twist on the wheel side of things - they are the correct diameter for an N7 (4'10" drivers) but the crank is between spokes instead of inline. So they are actually driving wheels to suit a J17 - and I happen to have a Stelfox J17 kit without wheels so not even remotely bothered about this revelation. Well, a J17 is 4'11 but that's within tyre wear so not an issue.
  14. But! But! But! But they are weatherproofed and better at coping with the Dawlish route, no?
  15. The only one I know of is available here - https://www.gersociety.org.uk/index.php/files-emporium-home/lg032-turntable But it's a Great Eastern in-house design so probably not suitable?
  16. Reminds me of when I work shadowing someone at the ABB and we were heading back from a meeting at Crewe to Derby and a fairly senior Regional Railways manager was coming back with us. Standing on the platform and instead of the expected 15x one of those heaps pulled in with the regular punters letting out a collective moan. The RR guy discretely removed his tie and ID before they could organise a lynch mob. Still the only time I ever rode on one and that was enough.
  17. I don't have experience with their turntable kits but I've bought a few bits from the over the years without any issue. @Jol Wilkinson knows the proprietor very well I believe.
  18. LRM do a couple but not GWR ones? https://traders.scalefour.org/LondonRoadModels/various/architectural-kits/
  19. Manufacturer rejects or overproduction? The seller is in China so...
  20. Absolutely nothing to apologise for, we all know that the whole world is a mess right now, delays are not just expected but pretty much guaranteed at the moment. I can wait for my Meld
  21. Yup definitely chuffed (sorry!) with that buy
  22. Great work as always, I love that you just get on with it and come out with decent results.
  23. Got a bit of an accidental bargain - I can never resist looking at N7 listings and there was an SEF one with a buy it now of £80 with Markits wheels, open frame motor and gearbox but no instructions it caught my interest. I wanted to know if the wheels were all insulated or half and half so tried asking - ebay said something like "because of the number of queries this seller gets they are unable to receive and respond to them". Eh? I don't give up that easily so I put in a silly offer of £60 as you can put a note in - but this was auto declined so I put on in for £70 and this one went through. The seller only came back with a counter offer of £65 so I snapped it up. A £90 kit plus about £40 of wheels plus however much the motor and box is AND it also came with a pickup kit (even though the kit has one anyway). Instructions won't be hard to find. And I can buy 3 wheels to make them all insulated with the £15 saved off the price I was prepared to pay anyway. Lovely Jubbly edit: Turns out I have a scan of the instructions already so sorted
  24. If that's good I'd hate to see bad.... Designed to withstand gentle knocks and pristine BR livery apparently. So presumably it's had non-gentle knocks to lose the chimney, part of the smokey joe name and it looks suspiciously like a wheel is getting ready to drop off. Plus it's filthy, and so on. It's a no from me.
