  1. Added the new Hornby MK3 lighting units to my OR scotrail coaches.. easy enough to add however the battery is sitting in the vestibule by the loo, as there is nowhere else really to put it without being seen.
  2. I got 4 sets to add to my OR Scotrail coaches… then maybe my 5 OR B&G MK3’s.
  3. Yes i have. I used a dab of super glue.
  4. Added the detail on my new 47711…. Fantastic model. But a bit fiddly to put on and the instructions dont cater for all types inc this 1.
  5. I think 712 needs a new traction motor and/or new tyres. That’s why t was limited to 75pmh while on the staycation and ECS moves.
  6. I meant as a BR Blue with grey roof…
  7. I found it odd that B’Mann didn’t produce a OO 47701 when they released 710 and the N gauge 701. They missed a trick there as it would’ve been very popular.
  8. Dont think it can be done. I tried my D9009 with the detailing on 1 end and with the. Lower placement of the ETH socket the bogie frame still hit it so it fell off. So its stayed off.
  9. They haven’t done in OO gauge but they have in N gauge. 47701.
  10. In LNER days she started with a GNR coal rail tender as 1472, then 4472, LNER with corridor tender then another GN followed by the streamlined non corridor she kept till withdrawal.
  11. Am I right in thinking that the engine room lights can only be operated on DCC operation? If thats the case maybe in the next batch they could be available for analogue too? Perhaps adapt the light switch PC’B to allow this? @Accurascale Fran
  12. Yes I realise that but what I meant was up until this morning hen B’Mann updated their dates, Cheltenham have said 30th august, wen B’Mann had said jul/aug.
  13. I thought so too. Specially given that Cheltenham models are saying 30th august for 47711 ( which is what ive been waiting years for) do they know something Bachmann don’t?
  14. Those waiting on 47435 in blue, 47526 in faded LLB, 47711 in LLB, 47712 in Scotrail, 47376 in F’liner and 47790 in DRS liveries will have to wait a bit longer, the Bachmann website now saying sep/oct for those models.
  15. No.9 is ready for railtour duties. Headboard and thistle from Silver Tay Models
  16. Has anyone had problems adding the detail to the buffer beam and then not allowing the bogie to pivot? Or is it just me?
  17. Question for those who have the DPS ltd ed of D9009… has anyone tried to put on the ETH connection on the buffer beam when adding the detail? I cant seem to see any place for them to go… @Accurascale Fran any ideas? EDIT: tried it with them on but the wire hangs too low and scrapes the rail and restricts the movement of the bogie. However a snip of the cable but leaving the eth connection boxes on solves the problem. Hope this helps anyone. :)
  18. Finally got round to unboxing no.9.. and wow!!! Amazing. Everything as it should be, nothing fallen off. Only thing i can see is a slight scratch on the headlight (nearest camera).
  19. My Alycidon now arrived, but had to intercept the postie (also with another parcel for a neighbour ) so that the other 1/2 couldn’t see it and ask questions… so it went into the shed,, to under stairs, to into bedroom…. I’ll get round it opening it eventually 😆
  20. My Alycidon was shipped yesterday too with the tracking number and i got the same thing when i went to track it. What is the point of that? All parcels come with my normal postie and not separately so i cant track it, so ill have to wait in for the postman to come. Or hope that he leaves it somewhere safe. (But going off previous experience i wont hold my breath)
  21. That’s a Bachmann model. Not a’scale. But good weathering
  22. Can someone please help? (Forgive me if i seem a bit dense here). According to the DPS website D9009 is still available for deposit only but for full payment it says “pre-order”. Is that coz its sold out ? The “deposit” bit for hose all ready pre-ordered? Thanks. :)
  23. I had that problem too, i wanted to rearrange delivery and despite registering on the website it wouldnt let me. Plus I didn’t want the other 1/2 to see so was keen to get out and take him to work before the van arrived!! But at least the driver put it in a bush near the door.
  24. My KOYLI arrived while i was out and left by UPS in the bushes in the garden, despite being given a 4hr time slot. Aannyywaaayyyy.. initial inspection is good nothing broken or missing. Stunning.
