Yes. The site was updated 2-3 weeks ago. Along with the majority of this years releases. I think Hornby should date their catalogue as 2022-2023 and next year 2023-2024. :P

When GNER refurbished all the fleet under “project Mallard” a lot of TSO’s were reclassified as FO’s to bring all the sets into the same formation. ( TSOE, TO TO TO TSOD, TBK, FO , FO FO, DVT) The buffet coaches were turned round so that the kitchens were next to the FO that was 1/2 restaurant, 1/2 FO. This is how the sets remain. In BR/Intercity days , when first introduced there weren’t enough M4’s to make up a full rake so some were 7+DVT and some 8+DVT. Eventually there were enough M4 TSO, to make up a full 9+DVT. The formation being. TSOE, TSO, TSO, TSO, TSO, TSOD, RFM, FO , FO, DVT (STANDARD FORMATION) and the others were TSOE, TSO, TSO, TSO, TSOD, RFM, FO FO FO DVT (PULLMAN FORMATION. ) I Believe Hornby Weill be doing the IC M4’s into an 8 car formation. The GNER coach lettering would be A, B, C, D, E, G ( or H )K, (restaurant) L, M ( unless anyone knows different, I’ll stand corrected)

Yes i think this is a re number of 60075. Flying Scotsman never wore that livery. Went from apple green with British Railways on the tender to BR EXpress blue. Walter K Whigham wore that experimental purple for a short time.

I wanted a B&G MK2F. FO, looked all over, couldn’t find 1 then off the top of my head came Going Loco in Wakefield.. Bingo!!! Said coach DCC fitted for £69.95 and the option of PAyPal pay in 3 which i duly accepted…. Will become criagentinny’s 3284.

Ive had the same thing… sometimes the link works, sometimes not, and when t does work , the latest update is “at national hub”. More than likely being thrown around… god only knows when it’ll turn up and if its in 1 piece.

I had to chase up Hornby for my W1 as after a week of “processing” i was beginning g to wonder if id ever get it. The woman was really apologetic and made sure that my order was a priority as id been waiting over the 5day limit for orders…. Now its in the Bermuda triangle that is Herpes .. ooops sorry Hermes.. so we’ll see how that turns up, whenever that may be. As for packing (or lack of it) i do so hope it hasn’t come damaged. And that the packing co have been given a kick up the arse by Hornby.. but again i wont hold my breath. As some one said you shouldn’t be fearing a model coming more looking forward to it.

Just out of interest, for those who ordered direct from Hornby, how long did it take to process orders? I may seem a little impatient but i placed my order on the 6th Dec, and its still listed as processing. And now the website is saying OOS. Surely it doesnt take that long to post 1 out?

Jus looked at the Hornby website and they have been removed from the “coming soon” pages… a quick search for under “collections” and i found them, with delivery now quoted as Winter 2023!! More time to save up for the Collectors Club model but why cant Hornby say this? Do they mean early 2023 or late 23????

Still no mention of D213, LLB 47/7 and Scr MK2’s….

Yeah I noticed that 737 only has the guard irons, not other detail on the front. So straight forward really

Has anyone tried to attach the accessories to the front? It’s says where to put them in the instruction booklet but on the loco there isn’t any slots to place them.
