    No, i mean at the end of each pair. The gangways are mounted my magnets apparently and will be the colours of the coaches and they’re moulded with the ends of the coaches but there’s no actual way of covering them. Unlike the fairings in the middle of each twin.

    Running samples of the coaches in the new edition of The Engine Shed blog. Theres no mention of it.

    Can anyone help please? I want to add a speedo drive to my BP. Using bachmanns std 5 speedo, what screw would i need to fit it or will the 1 thats already there suffice? Or wll a Hornby speedo fit just as well? Thanks :)

    Has anyone else had problems with the loriot that Dans house sits on? Mine keeps derailing and pulling off everything coupled to it. I think the couplings are too tight and not swinging round enough. I don’t want to waggle em too much in case they snap off. any thoughts? Ta :)

    Just looking at the accurascale website, D9000 is listed as an A/S exclusive, does that mean it’ll have differnt coloured box? I have 1 on order. :)

    I dunno if this’ll get deleted but i have it on good authority that Bachman’s others announcements will contain a class 50 and class 87… possibly a new pannier tank too.. (runs for cover) whether there’s any truth in this remains o be seen.

    For anyone interested, the latest issue of Heritage railway magazine has a 5/6 page article on the TT filming locations and Lion itself. I got my TT coach yesterday.. lovely little thing..

    Whilst i wont be getting 1 , i have noticed that Hornby are going back to using the bar and wire for the tender coupling. The latest batches of W1 and the P2 all have the new style coupling. I would’ve thought they would use the new style on 6202…. Just a thought…

    The same thing handed with mine. 3 yellow/green (as above) and 1 green/yellow. I just ended up putting full open white discs on both ends.

    Arcadia models have an 043 DCC ready. And 027 (But closed till friday )

    If anyone is still looking for them, Arcadia models still has DCC ready version of 026, 027, 043 and 409. ( they’ll be closed for 10 days though from tomorrow)

    Apologies of this has been asked before, but will Rapido be releasing the ModelU TT characters as a separate item? I heard they are doing period figures to go with Lion.
