  1. Train tech produce a module for it. Keep in mind, its very basic - just the doors opening and closing.
  2. I run a 7 car with sound and lights. Its a nice model but REALLY needs populating.
  3. And there is the code GLOVESOFF20 which was around last year
  4. Can you try a different email address when filling in the form? That's what I did for the BP.
  5. I think this was answered on the bargains thread or the hattons thread. In essence, it's fine, the tape is what is required
  6. +1. With the sale price and coupon, down to £380. Not exactly giving it away, but cheapest around that i could find.
  7. Thanks for this Steve, much appreciated. Clears up something that had bothered me a little.
  8. Maybe away from the op little, I've often noticed that the postage applied by hattons and others would have insufficient insurance to cover it if it were to go missing. I'm presuming that this be factored in to their business model - more sales with low postage offsets any that go missing. But I was a little uneasy when asked to return an item to them and was told second class recorded was only what they'd refund - if it went missing, presumably I'd take the hit
  9. Hmm. I can't help but ponder what would have been said if the accounts had shown a large increase in labour costs. I suspect that it would have been a good chunk of "I told you so". As it's gone the other way with a neglible reduction in staff numbers, we're having other 'explanations' put forward. It just goes to show something that I've always suspected - we just don't know - it's all speculation.
  10. or ten according to the listing. "more than ten in stock" ???
  11. Oh I don't know, maybe he was thinking about those Noch Sexy Scenes at the time
  12. Looks like the S-stock is back to what it used to be when it came out. For the money, its pretty good, albeit a bit of a niche. Sarah Siddons is pretty good - £8 cheaper than H
  13. Really pleased with my 73 as well. An electrical issue with mine though - red and black motor wires needed swapping (see Olivia's website) as the headlamp lit in the wrong direction.
  14. Seeing my order hasn't been processed, only confirmed and that you have yours, I tend to think that I was too late.
  15. Just browsing tonight and some of the items seemed to have hiked up in price too.
  16. They seemed to have all gone by 2pm. I think they had 8 last night. I'm wondering if the stock indicator for some of this new stock is entirely accurate
  17. http://www.hattons.co.uk/355592/Bachmann_Branchline_32_676Z_PO01_Class_45_Peak_45048_The_Royal_Marines_in_BR_Blue_Limited_Edition_for_Modelzone_/StockDetail.aspx
  18. This won't help, but I think your best bet is to sort it out. Returning Harry Beck back to the LTM shop will only get you £170 back at best (the highest price they were). They have been out of stock for 18 months, so I would guess little chance of a replacement. All this assuming LTM will help you - they would be well within their rights not to. I have Harry Beck and it's a lovely loco - I'd be loathed to send it back or sell it on. How about sending it to Bachmann and asking them to repair it?
  19. I hoovered a 4CEP. I've had my order confirmed but not that its been processed. Normally it quickly follows
  20. And the selling ceased at the same time as the 77's went on sale at Hattons. As you say Ian, speculation on all this is inevitable. Chuffed with the two 76's I hoovered up - I'd wanted them for some time, but not at £160
  21. Had my order for the 4cep processed at £69. Checked stock - 3 left 5 minutes later, sold out. I'm not confident this will turn up
