  1. 90% of the last 300 pages in the TT120 announcement thread can be replaced with this post!
  2. Well, I decided against TT for the moment, because not enough time. But a TT Class 92 would be hard to say no to!
  3. FYI, Accurascale has their first TT set in stock. It’s their Research team, also avaible in OO.
  4. So, Hornby is halfway there after 18 months.
  5. I use the Humbrol-copy Clear. While I'm not a fan of the matt version, the gloss Clear paints and sprays well, and if you use it in a lot of layers, gives a nice dept.
  6. It wasn't, and what was also strange, both Profile ROM Version and Boot ROM Version were v0.0, although I am 100% I did update these. So I unlinked and deleted, and started again. Now my B12 is chuffing nicely around the layout, both on app as with the z21. I still have a problem with another, I can change the cv's with my z21, but they don't move, or make a sound. So when I'm of work later today, I'll do the same as above. Thanks for the help!
  7. I have, strangely enough, just the opposite problem. My B12 doesn’t run on BT. I didn’t think about testing it on my DCC controller, so I took it apart and cleaned all the wheels and contacts before the penny dropped. It works like a charm with my z21, but nothing with the app.
  8. There were five or six versions, for the centenary of FS, and around the same time they announced these gold plates ones, who have been in shops some time as well. They seem to sell well, so why not?
  9. Wait till you find out about starlight express. I hope it’s an early April‘a fool!
  10. This review almost made me buy one, and if it gets under the €200 mark at Modelbahnunion I will. It's of the most recent non-rebuilt version, with the lifting cowl. It looks like it has the new tender coupling as well.
  11. According to the mail of 12/03, it'll be on YT, so I think they will send a link to that in the coming days:
  12. ‘All the blemishes’ or ‘gaping hole’. Must be me, but I don’t see these. And why would I sell my Lord President, or even CotN, to buy Prince of Wales? Some people seem to have a problem with others enjoying their trains. Strange, a hobby is a relaxing thing for me.
  13. That’s only possible on an unlimited budget, and that’s something Hornby Hobbies doesn’t has. The same argument is used for TT120, only release when there’s a full range, or with HM7000, only release it when both android and IOS are ready, and with tons of profiles and the dongle ready to ship. These first steam generators are making money now, money that Hornby needs, and going by the plethora of videos on YT, are well received. Who knows what the future brings?
  14. Perfect, it works very well. Thank you so much.
  15. Thanks! I was aware of the first part, it’s with the second I have a problem. When I add a new vehicle - locomotive in the engine shed, I can name and number that one, but if I choose to ‘browse profiles’ to get the function key map, it tells me to assign a decoder. If I do, choosing the Dongle, the ‘browse profiles’ button disappears. I’m sure it’s me and not HM7000, but what did I do wrong?
  16. It works perfect with my z21. My father has a Lenz setup for his LGB garden layout, but haven't tried that. I do have a problem with the TTS profiles, I can connect and run (with sound) my original TTS fitted P2, but I can't import the soundprofile, the button's simply not there.
  17. Tell me you have no idea what you’re talking about, without telling me you have no idea what you’re talking about. i don’t claim to know it all, but I have enough experience in both operations and HR to tell you that firing everybody (and the kitchen sink) only leads to disasters.
  18. So, the dongle arrived today, easy to set up with my z21, works great. Very strange however, only the first one shows the F- buttons, and they work. For the others, these are grey, and don’t work. I must have missed something?
  19. Mine is on its way. Strangely, Hornby still describe these as having lit head codes, while the pictures show them without.
  20. The OO Red Rover set seems to sell quite well, sold out at Hornby. So why wouldn’t a set with a TT 66 work?
  21. After a long and hard battle with a dead spot (bad track laying of my part) I was wondering, if these decoders would work with a battery? I have no direct plans, but would be a fun project I think.
  22. I couldn’t take a photo with the app on android (uploading one I took earlier wasn’t a problem) but I switched to an IPhone and this works perfect.
  23. Here in Belgium I often see 66's, sometimes with containers. Are the seem type of container wagons in use in the UK? It's a Tillig model
  24. The non-sound version is a long time sold out, as are some Pullmans and the Easterner set, at Modelbahn Union, one of the largest retailers in the EU. I have no personal knowledge of clubs with a TT-layout here, but in HO they often have theme-days of different countries, or run next to each other.
  25. It was a new playtrains.
