    My understanding is that D138-173 had central bar in a centre head code box and D174-193 had centre head codes (no central bar) cheers malc

    I have found that colour doesn't scale down very well, eg original loco colour always appears to dark on models. OF COURSE IT COULD BE JUST MY PERCEPTION. Cheers Malc

    Hi Jonathon, If my memory serves me correctly I am sure there was a R Orme &Co at Darley Dale, it was on Dale rd nth at the junction with Crowstones rd ( near the Grouse pub). cheers Malc
