  1. Yes some more Scottish locomotives and rolling stock would be nice particularly from the Caledonian Railway. Perhaps the Caledonian Single 4-2-2 might be back in the 2022 range as the revived Train pack or just the separate locomotive with the individual coaches also available separately both now the RailRoad range. Speaking of other British Celtic nations. Some more Cornish and Welsh themed and new tooled GWR locomotives would be welcomed! Some new Welsh named locomotives 4-4-0s County Class in the RailRoad range or newly tooled either one of these. County of Brecon County of Cardigan County of Carmarthen County of Carnarvon County of Denbigh County of Glamorgan County of Merioneth County of Monmouth County of Pembroke County of Radnor Or staying with Cymru even perhaps if Hornby were to try something completely different and were to venture into the narrow gauge market if there is (they probably won't though as Bachmann etc provide British Narrow gauge railways) some Welsh Highland Railway locomotives and rolling stock would sell well?
  2. Last year at that Q&A YouTube video thing that Simon and Montana did this time last year. Simon said he's aware it's Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee 70th in 2022. So Perhaps a other Royal theme Train set will be seen again with Resin brass-effect maker's plate and a Limited edition certificate. Like the 2012 Diamond Jubilee set (pictured)
  3. Ah yes I completely forgotten about that as it was a few years ago now! I was thinking of Dapols 'N' Gauge model of it.
  4. A Hornby B.R Class 252 prototype HST Class 41 HST Power Cars and original protype livery B.R MK3 carriages. I'd love to see this!
  5. Sorry yes if the toolings still exist ( I am aware alot of older toolings were sadly culled and canablised modified etc) and if there is a market for them as RailRoad train sets!
  6. Some new train sets my suggestions from last year would be good, an Avanti Pendolino set. LNER HST set or a Cross Country HST set. ( both Same contents as the current 2019-21 GWR HST set) A GWR steam express set. A locomotive in B.R green early or late crest with some chocolate and cream MK1 coaches. It could be called Devon Riverea Express like the Cornish Riviera Express 1996-97 set. With any King Class locomotive (older toolings). Also a revived 1997-98 Diesel Breakdown set with an 06 locomotive Operating Maintenance Crane, B.R. Engineers 45 Ton Steel Carrier and B.R. Engineers Tippler Wagon Or an older tooling InterCity 225 LNER set.
  7. The thankful outcome of the pererved APT-P cars, is that the TBFs that are perserved are slightly longer than the rest of the vehicles that were scrapped and the perseved Trailer Restaurant/Buffet Second the size of the TRBS is exactly the same as the scrapped TS, TU and TF non surviving coaches so replicas of these three are easier to make copies of the toolings of rather than relaying on archived BR paperwork and documents, so only modifications to the seating and the other window side. The Ex APT-P 48204 coach which is also easy to make a model of. Also the NDMs that are persrved along with the two DTS' are also different in length.
  8. It's just a shame that more vehicles were not perserved at least one of each TS, TF and TU.
  9. Possibly the BR Motorrail Car Transporter (Cartic) will be in the 2022 range, as the last time it was available was in the 2008-2009 ranges. As R60040 the Motorail, Carflat Transporter from the 2021 range is now available.
  10. Yes Virgin Trains 25th anniversary! Perhaps the additional 5 Pendolino coaches for Alstom livery 2015 set . Yes 1999 was the year the Hornby Virgin Trains 125 train set was released at this time briefly it was the Hornby Railways 1986 logo blue box Train set design used from 1996-1998, 1999. I think the Virgin Trains 125 set in the Hornby Railways blue box design is quite rare. In 1999 the blue box design was phased out and replaced with the new 1997 Hornby logo box design look as seen here with other Hornby Virgin Trains train sets. Also the evolution design of Hornby Train sets from 1999-2015.
  11. I'm still digesting the 2020 2021 ranges, If it's wishes then... Other than the ones announced. Newly tooled some originally planned but never finalised from the 1970s and 1980s some of them are taken from Pat Hammond's Hornby Book of Trains The First 100 years. any one of the following would be nice GWR Class 14XX (Newly tooled) GWR ‘City’ 3440 City of Truro Maunsell ‘Z’ 0-8-0T GWR 2251 Class 3205 LMR 600 Gordon LMS 6399 "Fury" AC Electrics Any one here BR Class 81 BR Class 82 BR Class 83 BR Class 84 BR Class 89 (if Rails don't go through with it) BR Class 140 pacer Railbus ( I know Hornby don't do one-offs of diesel electric DMUs EDMUs etc, I'd love this one it would be nice although they probably won't do this!) LMS Railway dynamometer car Coach RailRoad and reintroduced models. BR (W) 2-8-0 38XX GWR or British Railways 4-6-0 County Class any would be nice ("County Of Northampton" 1022 I'd love this one in BR Black BR early crest) BR Class 33 BR Blue BR Class 37 BR Blue DCC Digital Sound TTS fitted. Or BR BR Class 37 in original BR Green DCC Digital Sound TTS J13 Saddle Tank BR MK3 TS BR Blue Grey BR MK3 TF BR Blue Grey BR MK3 Buffet BR Blue Grey (above MK3 Coach stock the Older toolings now RailRoad range possibly to complement the 2019 RailRoad BR Class 43 HST power Cars BR) BR Class 370 APT-P Sets 370 005 and 370 006 in Final APT-P logo with red stripe livery with the 4 coach packs and the additional NDM. BR Class 142 pacer Railbus any era. BR Class 09 Connex Class 466
  12. Yes the perserved at Crewe Heritage Center Set could sell well. Possibly if demand is there APT-P Sets 370 005 and 370 006 in Final APT-P logo with the red stripe livery with the 4 coach packs and the additional NDM.
  13. D6537 in BR green appearing in the 2010, 2011 and 2012 RailRoad range as R2939. This will be a ten year absence in the range by 2022. So Perhaps a RailRoad Class 33 in BR Blue would be a welcome nice reintroduction to the RailRoad range. Also Another long absence any Class J13/J52 would be nice to see again!
  14. If there is any Class 37 one in original BR Green or BR Blue are both long overdue in the RailRoad range.
  15. They've already been released on Audio CD, CD and DVD!
  16. Hopefully January we should receive either the 5 car or 7 car pack. Hornby have updated the coming soon section today a few from December have been moved to the February 2022 section but both 5 car and 7 car APT-P Sets are still in the January 2022 section.
  17. Yes it'll tilt and the on board passengers will also experience neausea! Just like it's original namesake! They'll receive the true APT-P experience on sea instead of rail!
  18. Hi Paul. Well my NDM for the 5 car pack the payment was taken I had no emails or anything so I contacted the retailer they were excellent fantastic A**** service! They said they sent out emails explaining the NDMs were damaged beyond repair (but I didn't get an email they explained it must have been a technical fault). They explained that on recipient of all of their NDMs they received on order were all crushed at one end of the model with irreparable damage ( they didn't specify which end or what was damaged or whatever well any type of damage is bad minor or major!) So they explained they sent them back to Hornby and they were expecting replacements soon about a week later. I revived my NDM. I don't know Perhaps this could be the reason for the December to January delay to prevent stock from being damaged? (Or I'm barking up the wrong tree and I'm most probably wrong there altogether about the delays it's probably not the reason just "hazard a guess"!)
  19. That's exactly how my W1 Hush Hush appeared pristine and new mint condition! Only my outer transportation box was more dented and bashed and crushed! and I live in the UK! Europe you are in New Zealand Oceania. It really is a stunning locomotive!
  20. Both APT-P Train packs are now listed as appearing Winter 2021/22. It did (I think?) until yesterday appear as Winter 2022.

That BR Class 43 HST power car in BR INTERCITY swallow livery. I don't know why but it reminds me of The Peterkin Technic N gauge battery operated sets. Series 2, Series 3, Series 4 and Series 5 the higher the series number the more coaches plastic track accessories etc came with it ( it would be perfect apart from the incorrect wrong wheel arrangement on the locomotive ( I always remember the power car wasn't correct it wasn't even even Bo'Bo ! You'd think they would have made both power and dummy car both Bo'Bo!) It was about £15 in 1997! In those Christmas club magazine things those free Toy catalogues that post offices, newsagents and even hardware shops yes my local childhood hardware shops sold toys! Even this!) They ordered toys in and you paid for them at the retailer. It was very 1990s! Memories!

That's nothing! Rails of Sheffield sell Hatton's products and vice versa!

"You've let the tea bag out of the cupboard", Hornby are trying their hand at the kitchen appliances market! This is their newly tooled kettle (the flying teapotman a very badly working title) . That's why you see kettles there in their offices etc.
  24. Yes I did notice it's the same picture with the second just with added imaginate lighting! I know about advertising I just think that I am expecting them all to be like the above. As they do differ to the one on the Hornby website. Perhaps my expectations are too high?
  25. images of the APT-P from the recent magazine adverts! Well the gap join lines looks so much better! as does the headlights in the DTS!
