The 22 month old twins were introduced to the Vulcan today... and loved it. The girl was waving away despite it sounding like it was ripping the sky apart and the boy simply followed it's every move. I was expecting a screaming fit.

The car developed a very loud metallic rattle. Mrs LNERGE pulled away from a hill start and whatever was rattling fell off. She stopped and picked it up and gingerly drove the non rattly car home. What she brought home is part of a spring. Not from our car but a lorry. No doubt it fell from our car but was never part of it. How did it get there?

A certain annual event here today. Mrs LNERGE got me a Cravens, DCC fitted. Was expecting a power twin. Got DMBS/DTC Norwich based unit. Perfect!

A week without an internet connection. BT says that is the quickest they can fix it. Stand by for me popping a gasket later if it's not working.

I had major issues where they lied (the words of their own engineer) about the fault on our line - caused by one of their subbies cutting the cable whilst clearing trees. Eventually I phoned them and told them there were bare cables as a result of the line being cut and any deaths were down to them - an hour later they were there, the next day the cherry picker turned up and the fault was fixed.

A pleasant day spent topping up ballast shoulders on the Greystone and Snailsworth Light Railway.

My kids saw the Vulcan flying today for the first time. Shame it's probably the last.

Hopefully whats showing on the rainfall radar and lightning detector will make it here.

late for work, knackered but alive.

They've released fifty shade of grey on dvd. I've come in from work to find a bottle of wine in the fridge and a Mrs LNERGE with that look in her eye. My chances of survival = Nil.

Should the babysitter make a pot of tea every hour as a matter of course?

just been for a walk at Beachy Head. There's a bit of a draught.

A few clicks on the mouse and i've drawn another circuit diagram. Step back and take a look. 72 six way 2ba link blocks required. They'll need at least 432 crimps to terminate the wires. Each wire has two ends. That's another 432 crimps @
