I stumbled upon these and wondered if they'd be of any use to the people here -

I just tend to call them kit bashing fodder. They might have various useful bits for a cheap enough price even if they have no working chassis.

I've thought about just using the underframe of the crane as a maintenance wagon. Filling the well wagon like dip with sleepers

I've repainted a few as North Eastern refrigerated vans since the NER did buy the H&B in 1921. They are a what if creation.

I think railway mania are planning a Kit of the 0-6-2s using the chassis off the Bachmann midland 1F -

The Bachmann J72 and G5s would also be suitable. -

Tri ang locomotives
Paleopotato09 replied to Lt_Trauzz's topic in Modelling Questions, Help and Tips
I'm slowly converting this Tri-ang saddle tank into a 0-6-2 colliery tank. Based on an engine used in Wales but also the Lambton tanks. The chassis is from a Bachmann junior Thomas lookalike. All I really need to do is figure out how to mount the new chassis and fit the rear trailing axle. You could say this is baby's first kitbash as it's my first time doing this kind of work on a model? -
CXW's NER & H&BR (and Industrial) Workbench
Paleopotato09 replied to CXW1's topic in Kitbuilding & Scratchbuilding
I'm rather new to modelling so the idea of scratch building anything is rather intimidating. Luckily I have all of the lovely people on RMweb to help guide me through my first projects. Might have to start on my own batch of industrials. -
