      What, exactly, is so wrong with HO?

       

      I mean, if you divide 1435 mm by 87, it comes out really close to 16.5 mm.

       

      Wait a minute - we're talking OO - 1:76.

       

      OK - I guess there might be a slight issue there - but it's so entrenched that I don't see manufacturers changing things any time soon.
