I will take that as a compliment Tim. Thanks I was only the other day rereading his (Stewart's) metal etching article from a way back Model Railway Constructor. These however are made from micro ply.

Laser (coach body and underframe) and 3D work (bogies) combined. Refurbished H15 Restaurant car. no transfers yet though.

IMHO under exposure is the ongoing problem in the mainstream mags. That however is probably a combination of 2 things,(1) Editorial bias and (2) lack of submissions. Shanks 522 also has a very strong point (Hornby is the default for most newcomers to the hobby.
