  6. Jeff asked 'm wondering if they've been recalled. Not to our knowledge neither is there a shortage. Many other Peco items are in short supply but not these.
  7. perhaps whatever they have next on the drawing board and a clean sheet would be a good place to start with simultaneous releases in OO and N. Just a thought
  8. got my OB bus this morning . very nice
  9. If anybody is interested we will have the brand new decorated samples of the new Peco wagons on show, (not for sale yet though as they will not be released until late September at the earliest). These have super thin bodies like the old Matheson ones.
  10. ipOur next door neighbour at TINGS for many years. A great modeller and innovator. We and his many friends and customers will miss him. Condolences to his family. RIP
  11. from our perspective it was a brilliant show, that was very well organised. What more can I say?
  12. section for use on a mimic control panel is the only description I know.
  13. I am fairly sure. Meanwhile their N gauge wheel sets are available Mathieson Spoked Wagon Wheels 10 (osbornsmodels.com) I will ask about the 3-link couplings
  14. Disappointing comment. says AY but with respect Andy you are not a specialist N scale retailer. The OO content is quite stunning of course.
  15. 9 hours ago, Nick_Bastable said: I may be very wrong here but I thought strapping was only painted on outshopping for photographic reasons . Probably and if it was a one off wagon they would not have repainted the strapping body colour as it entered traffic so it could be correct I guess. Most pictures of PO minerals showing working wagons do not have the strapping picked out and inside the body there are no straps to paint surely or have i got that wrong?
  16. I will take that as a compliment Tim. Thanks I was only the other day rereading his (Stewart's) metal etching article from a way back Model Railway Constructor. These however are made from micro ply.
  17. Laser (coach body and underframe) and 3D work (bogies) combined. Refurbished H15 Restaurant car. no transfers yet though.
  18. Bideford and Westward Ho! and Appledore light railway. (street running on Bideford Quay). That would be a tourist attraction
  19. just had this from the horse's mouth and more encouraging for Farish hopes I can also assure you that if you get asked and I am sure you will, Graham Farish has not been forgotten just wait until the Autumn launch, rest assured we have some very exciting models en route.
  20. N Gauge wallet secure for another 3 months
  21. IMHO under exposure is the ongoing problem in the mainstream mags. That however is probably a combination of 2 things,(1) Editorial bias and (2) lack of submissions. Shanks 522 also has a very strong point (Hornby is the default for most newcomers to the hobby.
  22. West of England Transport Collection at Winkleigh ~ Open Day (wetc.uk.com) seems somewhat dormant
