It's snowing!

It's been a funny old week! My dads friend died who we stayed with lots when I was a kid, my brother-in-laws dad has also passed away and my wife got recalled following her breast screening! On the up side she was given the all clear, thank god. I deal with death and bad news at work on a daily basis, and on my week off it has really hit home. It's a funny old world!!!

Well seen a blue class 31 (31188) parked up at WCR Carnforth today.

13hrs at work, get home to find roads shut, police helicopter above.. Aparently someone has been shot with a crossbow. Locking the doors and hiding in the loft!!!

Spent the evening changing concrete sleepers from short off cuts of track to two longer lengths of rail that was wooden sleeper track. Is this recycling or been careful with my money? I like to believe it's the first...
