  1. For clarity there was a small issue with a very small number of orders that had used partially on the ‘reservation fee and balance later’ model which we no longer do.

Most users will just have had a regular balance invoice raised with a due date about 90 days hence.

If anyone was actually charged by the system and wants that money back just let us know directly and we will sort that immediately.

On the balance orders you can avail of paypal credit, Clearpay and revolut pay in three to further spread the balance at no cost to you.

I noticed on the Accurascale website last night that the run 2 class 37s are now labelled as “stock incoming”. Is this true @Accurascale? Will I soon get my greasy mitts on some more lovely tractors? Considering I’ve ordered both the Colas and HNRC I think I’d better order some sunglasses, or  a welders helmet.

Transit times allowing, but they are not much longer away....

    That must be an understatement.

The sheer number of components must be considerable, and the need to keep track of stock will need a fair amount of resource.   In any case I can't imagine you'll be able to hold every component of every product you've ever produced.

    Good luck with the project.

I've noticed you're quoting weights against one or two of your products on the web site, something I find useful.

However in most cases it's the package weight (which I guess is useful for costing postage) rather than the vehicle itself.

Under the specification tab you’ll find the vehicle weight also.

    Pre-selling them before they arrive.....

Does the lifetime warranty transfer when sold/bought via ebay? As the description implies?

And he has three of them....

Nope. Warranty applies to the original purchase, either direct or from a listed stockist.

I sent accurascale a message directly about this some time ago and in a reply directly,  was told that the certificates were not included but were in the process of being sent over. This was several weeks ago now.
im happy to be corrected but im not sure we will get these now. A shame really.

Since you were told they were in the process of being sent, why would you now not get them?

We started posting them out last week  :)

Went to test run my DCC & sound fitted 37423, and to my surprise, the sound functions and lights worked but it wouldn’t move.  It worked perfectly a few weeks ago and now somewhat surprised that it’s decided to play dead.  Does anyone have any ideas as to why it’s decided to throw a wobbly?

Try a decoder reset? Assuming no obvious physical damage or signs since last run?

. After defending Accurascale on various forums (especially YouTube where people seem to try and make their titles sound as dramatic as possible) I now too have experienced motor failure on one of my 37s.

I know I go through Accurascale customer services but has anyone had to return one recently, and if so what was the turn around time like?

Current turnaround is about a week as there’s nothing in the queue ahead of you 👍

I was hoping there would be announcement regarding a third batch, I know @class26 and others are climbing the walls awaiting for a Accurascale announcement for Inverness based Class 37’s, especially 37114 Dunrobin Castle, with it’s unique top of the bonnet headlight.

Personally I’m hoping for DRS 37069 or 37218 and 37716 in later compass livery, plus 37401 in large logo.

    Just asking 😜

Once the run currently finishing production land we will launch the next run which will deliver within a year.

I wouldn't be so sure. Older tooling seems to last much longer in general then newer tooling. Look at how much use Hornby has made of some of the ex-Lima tooling - they may be more primitive in terms of detail but the models are still crisp. The same goes for the last run of Mk2Ds. No a reason not to retool though.

You can make tools from steel or from aluminum. The former will stand the test of time.
