No, first I knew was the post you made so I went looking at my account and paid for my Warwells about 5 mins before I posted.
I get the regular emails you send out but nothing today until I paid at 21:02 according to the receipt I got instantly.
Last email before that was a promotion for the coaches sent on 21st Feb. M

I take it I ignore the 8th May for the P and ‘due today’ for the Ruston then?

Odd perhaps check spam as all unpaid warwell orders got an email around lunchtime today. You can ignore all due dates on the system generally until we confirm the stock is in and ready to go.

I’ve just paid seeing that and it said 15 days overdue yet I’d had no emails from the account and nothing in spam.
    Similarly it says:

    Due today on this

and due on 8th May on the P,

I thought we would get auto emails but that doesn’t appear to be the case and I assume the Ruston is some way off yet?

The due dates are based on estimates when the orders are raised but you will get email alerts (you should have had one today re the warwells?)

Looks like the Warwells are coming into stock.

Just paid for mine which seemed to be an easy transaction.

they are expected into the warehouse before the end of next week so we would encourage anyone with an outstanding pre-order to settle the balance up in that time. To ensure timely shipping.

Excuse me if I come across a bit thick, but, I have 5 31's on pre-order, paid for at different times. Does that mean they will all get posted separately, or can I have them sent in one box?

It seems a bit daft, to me at least, that you would have to pay 5 lots of postage, where as only one lot of postage could be paid for, which I hope would work out cheaper for you.

Again apologies if I have misunderstood MCC's post.

Orders are shipped as you ordered them, so if you have five different order numbers, by default they'd all ship individually. If you want orders merged, ask support and we can do that too - bear in mind that some services also have weight limits, but our support guys can certainly help with that if you want a single parcel (bear in mind the 31's are also coming in three batches due to the enormous size of the run)

These certificates are supposed to be numbered, aren't they? Sort of like a works number on the prototype.

How will you know you've matched the right certificate with the right model? 😃

I hadn't noticed it was missing either, and really can't get steamed about it.

Just like the model packs the certs would be send out at random.

Vice different carriers how about a pre order system that doesn’t let “new” orders of the same product that’s been pre ordered and paid for get dispatched first? Seems a tad poor to prioritise “new” money over old…

All orders ship in Date Paid order, always has, always will, but we do have 8 pick lanes now, so sometimes orders can 'skip the queue' a little but only by a day or so. Hope that helps! (Also, we don't take any money down on preorders at all any more, so there is no 'old' money on the new ranges)

Would also like to hear some news on this. In my eyes, the only fault in some otherwise excellent and exceptionally good value carriages, but a very noticeable one.

I've put off opening mine up to investigate as it felt more sensible to wait for the promised guide, but we're going on more than a year now. I'm sure it's being remedied for batch 2 and perhaps the issue has needed redesign to the point that AS don't feel comfortable suggesting a complicated customer fix, but it would be handy to know where the problem sits for those of us happy to try some DIY at our own risk.

I tried contacting support directly and was only told to check clean wheels/track etc.

Fran will perhaps have more details next week but we have been working with DCC Concepts (and indeed some regular posters on here) for a plug in solution. In the mean time feel free to drop support a line.

AIUI, Accurascale determine their production runs from direct and retailer pre-orders.

I don't know if any excess gets produced over and above that, but if there is, I'd expect it to be minimal.

Whatever quantity Hatton's had on order will have presumably become available for AS and other retailers to sell. I re-pre-ordered (!) through Kernow when Hatton's made their closure announcement.

    John

Generally we secure direct orders and trade purchase orders and then manufacture between 33 and 75-% more again on top. In some cases that headroom sells out in a day in others it lasts more as intended for 6-12 months. It’s not an exact science but with reruns and restocks we are slowly moving to a more traditional stock holding model as was our goal on day 1.

Are you paying for a number or for a product you want? Quality they’ve not demanded a higher price per coach for a number, is an extra 100 (assume that’s actually the number not just cancelled orders / excess stock they normally have when they finally land)… is it going to be a big deal?

We processed the RTC packs first as they were simplest and as always the balance of stock once all preorders were allocated was offered on the website. This was about 50 packs in total. Nothing in any way nefarious and identical to how we process every preorder. All preorder customers orders are in the queue and the handful who were lucky today get added to the end. The first hundred or so we also managed to ship today.

I am surprised to see you have several of these still in stock. However my impression of the UK market is that modelers tend to prefer to visit their local hobby and pock put the model they are interested in instead of buying direct. However given my positive experience with your service and shipping I would encourage anyone considering purchasing a Manor to take a look at what you have in stock and also get the word out to their friends that these are still available—Larry

We have a great many stockists all of whom can also replenish their stocks should their customers ask.
