  1. Hiya I’ve done a couple of repaints of these in the past (08472 / 08853) I used Halfords grey primer and just a generic Matt black, can’t remember which brand, sorry To save a lot of extra hassle I masked up the ends as had no desire to try and replicate the wasp stripes will try and dig out some pics
  2. Goodwood Scenics do some very nice “logs” ive loaded quite a few OTA’s with them
  3. Def wouldn't have been 412 you saw, the original 66412 is now in Poland and has been a good few years now only 413-416, 418-420 still operated by FL
  4. I work for FL and im sure there’s a 99% chance that no locos will be repainted NP livery why would we want to colours of a defunct company, with historical ties to EWS, hauling a flagship contract?
  5. 4495t lifted the train out of Merehead with out the need for the Switcher to shove it, some the 59’s do need this was just a trial though, there is no long term plan to have 70’s down there. Quite the opposite in fact
  6. Did my eyes deceive me or was there a plain blue VTG one on the stand at DEMU is this an additional version?
  7. Fox transfers F4710 is what you require
  8. Hi there on the hunt for some Mk3 glazing for a Hornby TSO, the clear type, not tinted Only need a couple of windows, managed to misplace them somewhere when undertaking some remedial work if anyone has any laying around and fancies making a few quid drop me a line Cheers

  11. Hornby have done 2 runs of GWR liveried Mk3 slam door stock, still widely available in the shops
  12. bit late to the party but just placed an order for 3 packs, glad i did on the strength of this decorated sample. top work guys
  13. Good shout on the Mk2's, i'd expect to I/C Swallow with CDL's at some point to match the already produced RFO. they couldn't do the only NSE one accurately as the haven't done the FK variant yet and they coaches they have produced are Mk2F not 2D
  14. Quick snap of one of my PGA’s with some suitable FAXN traction. Superb wagons, can’t wait for the BBA and then whatever comes next
  15. Are any of the standard releases from Revolution tail-lamp fitted? The website doesn’t suggest they are (no mention whatsoever) and the standard price for all variants would suggest not either
  16. Had a go at using the set of decals that come with the wagons to recreate the current livery of the former FLHH tanks with the old FL logo patch painted and a white VTG logo placed on top. Also added were the correct VTG prefixed data panels and a few additional warning and maintenance notices also on the decal sheet A nice touch which allows for a bit of personalisation to what is already a superb wagon
  17. Colas branching out in the world of boxes?
  18. My crack a renumber of 47245 MW jumper removed, filled and sanded. Yellow section repainted. New Railtec decals Now sits a chassis ex 47834 so has the correct red buffer beams ( saved me having to paint the ones on 47245 plus ETH boxes already in situ)
  19. They only seemed to gain OHL stickers, and the later yellow / white ones in the mid - late 90's
  20. The swallow version does allow for some nice and easy renumbers

Only 961-965 are, pretty sure 966-971 have had the shoegear removed as not much need for it in Inverness
